Best Compact for Your Money! - 2004 Nissan Frontier
By Darren - January 24 - 4:56 amI love the design of this truck. I compared it with the Toyota Tacoma before I bought it. This is definitely a better truck. The Tacoma looks too plain and a little too conservative for my taste. The interior design of the Frontier is the best in its class. Overall a great truck for a very reasonable price!

Excellent truck - 2004 Nissan Frontier
By bigj6360 - January 17 - 4:40 pmI bought this crew cab long bed recently and am very excited about this truck. So far I like everything about it with the exception of one aspect. The tilt. This truck has so many nice qualities like fit and finish, pure looks, and power. I think they were looking at a different target audience, however. Im 61 and with the tilt all the way up, and the seat all the way down, it can still be a little cramped on the drivers side. But on that note it is something that you easily get use to. It is just different I guess. Overall... No compact truck beats this one in terms of overall package (Quality, power, functionality -LongBed-, towing, etc).

By yeadan - November 13 - 10:00 amDisappointing fuel mileage. About 21 mpg. 4 cyl has low power for getaways.

Nissan Frontier Forever - 2004 Nissan Frontier
By Vicki Kemmerer - October 29 - 3:23 amThis is my second Frontier. Ive had this one for 11 years. These are great small trucks. I just wish it got better mileage. Both trucks had problems with tailgate lock in both trucks.

2004 Frontier XE 303L LB 4X4 - 2004 Nissan Frontier
By Steve - October 25 - 12:26 pmI have had this truck for 23 months, in rain, snow, mud, dust, you name it, it goes there. Its a solid truck and Ihave had ZERO repairs and ZERO Recalls. It hauls well, carries, and also looks good in Super Black.

I made a mistake in getting this vehicle - 2004 Nissan Frontier
By trojo69 - August 27 - 1:36 pmThis truck has no power, and the gas mileage is terrible. There is not much room at all inside. The hauling capacity is mnot that bad for a small truck, but if I have to haul alot of weight up a small incline I am in trouble.

bad choice of wheels - 2004 Nissan Frontier
By jmmosley - July 7 - 10:00 amThe overall appearance of the truck would be greatly improved by adding aluminum or chrome wheels to make the paint really stand out.. Ride is hard needs softening up.

Good Truck Revisted - 2004 Nissan Frontier
By RichGil04 - April 20 - 7:20 am1st reviewed a year ago. I still love this truck. My wife bought an 05 Xterra. Very jealous of the new design. Considered new Frontier, but sticking w/the 04. Feature I would like most the rear door on extended cab for easier access. Golf clubs are hard to get in and out from behind back seat. Other than that, Ive really enjoyed this truck. Good commuter vehicle and great for hauling whatever.

Nice Truck - 2004 Nissan Frontier
By DC - April 19 - 5:50 amThis Frontier is a nice truck. The long bed is actually large enough to carry some cargo. Towing capacity is good. The crew-cab is very handy for carrying stuff or kids, a little tight for adults on a long trip. Rides and handles very well for a truck. The crew cab and long bed makes it a nice compromise between a compact and full size truck. Fuel economy has become more important lately: my Frontier gets about twice the mpg of my friends Chevy full-size, and about 6 more mpg than another friends Toyota 4-cyl 5- speed Tacoma!

Better than Ford - 2004 Nissan Frontier
By J. Orf - April 13 - 11:10 amThis truck is a joy to drive. I previously had a Ford Ranger. It had a 4cyl engine and couldnt get out of its own way. My Nissan however is almost as peppy as my 6cyl family sedan. I am very pleased with this vehicle and I havent had a single problem with it. The Ranger was in the shop more times than I care to mention.
