Overview & Reviews
The Altima's winning formula continues with few changes. Smoke is a new exterior color choice, and four-cylinder models meet stricter federal emissions standards. Models with California emissions are now classified as Partial Zero Emissions Vehicles (PZEV).
- Sports car power in a midsize sedan body, excellent handling, roomy and comfortable interior, high level of features, distinct styling.
- Low-grade interior materials, considerable road noise, overboosted steering, no stability control.

nice car - 2004 Nissan Altima
By Aschultnt - May 9 - 2:00 amthe nissan altima is fun car for all ages. the 17" tires on the 3.5 model improve the look and feel of the vehicle. acceleration from the start is quick. the only thing i would change is the dash board intruments and really only able to be looked at by the driver.

Great car - 2004 Nissan Altima
By Erik - March 22 - 9:52 pm2nd car I ever owned. Have had only one alternator replacement, valve head gasket replacement and some sensors as major repairs. Other than that, the car has been super good. I have spent a total of about $7000 for all repairs AND maintenance, including tires in 11 years of ownership. I have put over 200K miles on it and it has NEVER left me stranded. 70K of those miles were in NYC and those roads and the stop and go destroys the car. However, the car is still going strong. Of course, I have done most of the repairs and maintenance myself. So I have same a VERY large amount in labor.

massive excellence - 2004 Nissan Altima
By lauraboop - February 18 - 2:00 amThe power under the hood tranfers to you as the driver and gives you this over whelming sense of one. This car is a car made for the "Gods" and Nissan definately made a car worth reproduction year after year. Very smooth ride with tons of style to spare its passengers.

Silver Bullet! - 2004 Nissan Altima
By LiquidSilver - November 13 - 2:00 amI have had my eye on the Altima and took the opportunity to buy one of my own when my 99 Ford with less than 80K miles needed a new engine! I love this car, it is beautiful and fun to drive. Very smooth shifting and ride. Very low road noise. I wanted an 05 but got a much better interest rate on the 04, and I dont regret my decision. No more American junk for me!
