Overview & Reviews
The Altima's winning formula continues with few changes. Smoke is a new exterior color choice, and four-cylinder models meet stricter federal emissions standards. Models with California emissions are now classified as Partial Zero Emissions Vehicles (PZEV).
- Sports car power in a midsize sedan body, excellent handling, roomy and comfortable interior, high level of features, distinct styling.
- Low-grade interior materials, considerable road noise, overboosted steering, no stability control.

Nissan Altima-good driving - 2004 Nissan Altima
By christine m - September 26 - 10:00 amI did experience a problem with the computer ABS when I first purchased car that took awhile to be repaired, but Nissan did make good, and I have not had further problem. Great sound system but maybe a little to powerful for car since it cause the rearview mirror to vibrate.

2004 Altima - 2004 Nissan Altima
By Ghoastrider - September 26 - 10:00 amI bought the car for my wife two weeks ago and the car is perfect for her. The 2.5L has plenty of both city/highway power, the interior is excellent with the leather and it has lots of room for five. The outside can only be discribed as beutiful. Sitting next to my 2003 ford taurus (company car) there is no compairing. I would tell anyone looking at this car to buy/lease it.

rides like butta - 2004 Nissan Altima
By Nassin - September 26 - 10:00 amNext to the Honda Civic this is the best car for your dollar. You get an excellent & very comfortable city and highway ride. Excellent feedback in steering and handling. Top notch sound system w/ Boise. Eye turning exterior style. A very heavy a-la-carte package yet resonable base balances it out.

Wonderful Car! - 2004 Nissan Altima
By Sandra L. - September 15 - 10:00 amI cant say enough about this car. Its such a pleasure to drive. The ride really amazed me. The engine is so smooth also.Compared to my last car a 2001 Altima. I havent had any problems to speak of with this car. Also that this car doesnt have to have a tune up for 110,000 miles was a real selling point. Just a all around great car. Go get one.;)

Great Get around town car - 2004 Nissan Altima
By Mikeyan - August 2 - 2:00 amI do independant consulting, and after much deliberation and delay, as well as numerous test drives of other cars, i ended up with a 2004 altima. Ive had it for a week, so i wouldnt expect to have problems yet ;). It has been very fun to drive, very smooth, pretty good power, and would recommend that everyone take a test drive. Would have ended up with a 2005, wiht the upgraded interior, but the $1500 rebate and tad lower negotiated price was too much to pass up. But do check out the 2005, i think the interior quality will surprise a lot of honda and toyota fans.

My 2004 Nissan Altima - 2004 Nissan Altima
By PASS - June 20 - 2:00 amI have always liked the Nissan aotomobile. Unfortunately, I married a Ford man who would not even consider a FOREIGN made car! Now that we are separated pending divorce, Im back with the old tried and true-a 2004 Nissan Altima which I am thoroughly enjoying. This is my first Altima. I previously owned a Maxima and a Sentra GXE both of which were wonderful cars.
