I think the Altima is a steal. You cant get leather, sunroof, alloy wheels, and better than 25mpg for 26K from any other car.

  • Best Car 2008 - Fast - 2008 Nissan Altima

Once I saw this car it took less than 48 hours to decide to buy and I have no regrets! Although not as comfortable as my Buick Century, its more fun to drive and lots better gas mileage. I wanted an affordable 2 door coupe and the Altima was it. Ive had this car about a month and no tickets yet although when I drive it I want to go really, really fast! Super car. Getting into the back seat is tricky but then again I didnt buy this car to use the back seat often. I did notice the blind spots but now that I own one they dont seem to be a big deal.

Forget that it has a backseat, itll never get used, even if you wanted to. Backing up is helped with a back up monitoring system. Besides that, its a blast to drive and gets good gas mileage.

  • Nice little car - 2008 Nissan Altima

I bought this car because I was getting killed at the pump by my Nissan Titan. I love being able to drive by the gas stations instead of stopping to fill up. the car looks great, runs great, and am getting over 28 mpg. I plan to have this car in my stable till it craps out, which by the quality of it; I may crap out first. Its one peppy 4 banger!!

  • I love my new 2.5S Altima coupe! - 2008 Nissan Altima

Ive owned my fully loaded Altima coupe for 6 months and so far: it has been a great experience. The interior styling is classy and the dash layout makes using all its features easy to use. As far as the exterior goes: this car is a head turner. Beautiful to look at. Ive gone on several trips of over 2 hours and find the seats to be perfectly comfortable - for two people. Also, the gas tank holds about 18 gallons so there are fewer refueling stops than youd expect. Especially considering it has power to take off and still has less fuel consumption than any V6. I test drove the Accord, Camry, and Mustang and in my opinion: you get the most out of your hard earned money with the Altima.

  • Love My Coupe - 2008 Nissan Altima

I had been admiring the coupe since February. I thought it look so much like the G35. I started checking out the pricing and said Bingo! Ive been driving a Toyota Solara for 5 years and was looking for something sporter. I purchased a "Code Red" coupe and I love it. Heads turn as I whiz by. When I park, people stop me to talk about the car. I always find reasons to go out to drive. It has great pick up and go. Love that I dont see a lot on the road!

Power-Band is that of the 350Z. The 2.5 is smooth and has power throughout each gear. Granted, it doesnt have the horsepower of the 3.5, but it makes up for that in MPG. 175hp is plenty while city driving, and it performs excellent on the interstate. The styling speaks for itself, as it is a great looking coupe. Not very many cars today are in its class. Very well priced for what you receive.

  • Altima still needs some improvement - 2008 Nissan Altima

I bought the Altima 2 weeks ago and I dont know how to describe the feeling of looking at the 2008 Altima 3.5 SE (V-6!!). Its beyond great. But the problems are there, I cant ignore it. After a couple days of driving it, I found the suspension noise to be very loud and found it to be annoying (sounds like its rusted metal, a "squeak" sound). Two, the build material or overall finish of the interior was made with cheap material. The 2 front side of the door also made a "squeak" noise when you pressed upon it or when the car turned and your leg/thigh leaned against it.

  • All wheel to front wheel... hmm, No Good! - 2008 Nissan Altima

I traded in an Audi A6 2.7t for this car. After spending seven months and 9600 miles spinning the tires on dry pavement with traction control on, I figured it was going to snow soon. I traded it in for a 09 Impreza wrx. So far I think I made a good choice. The Nissan had a loose driver seat, the shifter was very notchy, the airbag light kept coming on, the cupholder door was broken, the brake pedal was starting to pulse. Sometimes the windows would roll down by themselves while the car was parked and unoccupied. It was a hassle not being able to open the trunk when the car was unlocked without the fob, which would always set off the panic horn while in my pocket. I will miss the HIDs and nav.

  • Great Buy! - 2008 Nissan Altima

I replaced my 99 Explorer for a 2008 Altima and couldnt have made a better choice. The CVT is fun and smooth, 4 cylinder holds its own and the handling is great! Im averaging 29.2 mpg at 25 mph!! Cant beat that with $4 gas prices around the corner. Plenty of room and the styling is sharp. I went with the black on black and got a low tint on my windows for the appeal. The car is SHARP and would recommend you buy this one if you get a chance!!
