Fun fun fun - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Lisa - March 27 - 2:40 amSwitching from a Yukon, it has been hard getting used to being the little girl on the road again, but this is the car to do it with! I drive a lot and I am getting 30 mpg average! Sporty, no longer look like the soccer mom, and fun to drive. Couldnt be happier with my choice. Kids are 13 (big and tall) and 10 (short and sweet) and fit just fine. No road noise, no wind noise, very well built car and 4cyl has plenty of strength, this coming from an 8 cyl girl (for over 10 years)! I have the basic, no bluetooth, no nav... and dont miss it a bit.

Bad ride & suspension system - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Jerry - March 23 - 1:10 pmI am really not happy with the ride of this vehicle, my driving is mostly in the city and the vehicle does not take the pot holes & various bumps that you find in most Cities. On the freeway the ride is very good. I had complained to Nissan Northern Regional in Canada and they referred me my dealership locally and they inspected the suspension system and said nothing was wrong with it that is how it was manufactured, well I sort of expected tho, to no avail! But on the more positive side the car is really a nice car, nice styling and the engine is a little noisy but runs good it is too bad that its suspension is not adequate to give a more comfortable ride overall.

Disappointed - 2008 Nissan Altima
By CJ - March 18 - 11:33 pmSince purchasing this vehicle in August, I have had it at the dealership 3 times for the same problem. Which I am told the vibration and shaking I feel when taking off and at low speeds is normal. I was told that the shaking and vibration is coming from the engine. What a total disappointment.

Love it! - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Andrea - March 2 - 7:13 amThis was a birthday gift from my husband. My first new car! Love the interior. The iPod hook up is perfect! The homelink is awesome. No more clunky garage door opener. The power isnt as good as my old Ponitac GTP, but this gets twice the gas mileage! Overall I am very, very happy with the vehicle. Stylish and young looking, yet its a great family sedan.

Honda Accord Owner for 15 yrs. - 2008 Nissan Altima
By wright1308 - February 14 - 8:43 amI have owned 5 Honda Accords over the last 15 years. I was about ready to buy another when I test drove the Altima. Immediately I could feel the difference. The Hondas are very smooth, reliaable and actually boring. I found the Altima fun to drive. I like the car more every day even though Ive only had it for a month. The leather seats seem more comfortable than the Accord and I like the home link. Hats off to Nissan for finally making a car that I feel is comparable and even better than my reliable, plain Hondas.

I LOVE this car - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Bren - January 23 - 7:50 amWe took delivery of our car about a week ago, and from the moment I sat in it, I was thrilled. Its fast, its sporty, its fun. I love the acceleration and the CVT is perfect for this car. Its got enough gadgets to satisfy the geekish part of me, and the gas mileage seems to be pretty good so far, although I havent driven it much yet.

It works hard for the money! - 2008 Nissan Altima
By bigcody - January 16 - 10:20 pmOwner of this sweet altima for three months. The v-6 combines excellent power and decent fuel economy when mated to the CVT. The car looks more compact and muscular in person than in photos. Driving in city or highway is enjoyable with the smooth VQ engine and refined handling. the ride feels like a blend of comfort and sport and is well suited for the daily commute. The seats are comfortable and the ergonomics are excellent. Fast like a muscle car but more refined. Engine note suits the car well - quiet at idle, aggressive when pushed.

I like my car more than a beemer I had - 2008 Nissan Altima
By greogory - January 8 - 3:56 amMust get a 3.5 to fully enjoy this car but the styling alone will make you like it. Cool and well done inside and out. When I see Infiniti G I think the Altima coupe is nicer looking.

Nice cockpit - 2008 Nissan Altima
By vadim_st - January 7 - 10:13 pmThe car feels light for its size, and quite agile. Only one concern: the engine started to run rough already (some kind of knocking or ticking noise along with rpms).
