Overview & Reviews
The Altima's winning formula continues with few changes. Smoke is a new exterior color choice, and four-cylinder models meet stricter federal emissions standards. Models with California emissions are now classified as Partial Zero Emissions Vehicles (PZEV).
- Sports car power in a midsize sedan body, excellent handling, roomy and comfortable interior, high level of features, distinct styling.
- Low-grade interior materials, considerable road noise, overboosted steering, no stability control.

lemon - 2004 Nissan Altima
By susan persina - May 25 - 2:00 amI have had to have this car towed away twice for not starting. I have never been imformed of the recalls either with one being problem starting engine.I am now driving my car around with washable paint on it saying this car is a lemon and it has many recalls on it. Since they would not trade this car back for me I will continue driving it the way it is. It gets parked 5 days a week in Trump Taj Mahal parking garage where everyone can see it also plus the 45 minute drive to work everyone notices me. Until I get some satisfaction I will be driving around like this. Who would think having a brand new car and it not starting.

A+++++ - 2004 Nissan Altima
By Skiier3 - April 6 - 2:00 amNissan went out on a limb redesigning their altima, but honestly what did they have to loose, the old altima was nothing short of average. This new altima is an entirely new car, and let me tell you, you cant get more bang for your buck. Compared to a new accord and new camry this car out does them in looks, style, comfort, options, and price. Highly Recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cant be beat - 2004 Nissan Altima
By Waddy - April 6 - 2:00 amYou show me another car out there that I can but for $25k that combines, performance, space, reliability, and looks and Ill buy it. As far as I am concerned every other car comes up a little bit short in in one of those areas, or has a higher price tag in order to match the Altima in those areas. The Altima cant be beat, literally and figuratively, just ask the Bimmers, Audis, Acuras, Mustang GTs that I leave choking in my dust on daily basis.

ALTIMA - 2004 Nissan Altima
By Xphille630 - February 18 - 10:00 amMy overalll review of the Nissan Altima has been a great experience. I was always a firm believer in American made autos only and my nneyes were opened to foreign made autos. I would certainly pruchase nother Nissan again. The Altima has delievered style, room, spaciousness, affordability, comfort, looks, and reliability. This is certaninly a vechile I wold purchase again.

2004 Altima - 2004 Nissan Altima
By olive - January 17 - 10:00 amI love this car. The interior looks kind of like a motorcycle. Cant beat the heated seats and the steering wheel radio controls. I love how its only a four cylinder but drives like a 6. Good pickup

New Altima - 2004 Nissan Altima
By merimac - November 23 - 2:00 amWe have only had our Altima for a week but we love it. Great handling and cornering and terrific acceleration for a four. The engineering of the car is outstanding. We felt the Altima had a sporty feel to it that was lacking in the Camry and Accord. We traded in a VW Passat which also had great handling but poor reliability.

Whats going on? - 2004 Nissan Altima
By Pat Clarkin - October 14 - 12:30 am2004 2.5 automatic bought 2/2004; 106,000 99% hgwy miles; excellent maintenance; 1 driver only. Within six months of purchase, 1 piston not firing fixed under warranty--told I was LUCKY!); replaced serpentine belt (3 yrs); hesitating 4 1/2 yrs ($1500. to fix); now, oil leaking into engine, told I need a NEW ENGINE! My 3rd Altima, other two (standard, 95 & 98, no problems at all. THIS CAR A MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT.

Satisfied with Altima - 2004 Nissan Altima
By Cedric - September 15 - 8:46 amThe Nissan Altima has been the best car Ive ever purchased. I have the 2.5 engine, but it drives like a V6. When I first test drove the Altima, it took a while for me to get used to the acceleration. This car is powerful and very fun to drive. The fuel efficicency is good, especially in todays high gas prices.

Love my Altima - 2004 Nissan Altima
By NissanNurse - August 30 - 2:00 amI shopped for a car for approximately 3 months, test-driving many different types of cars. I drove Buicks, Camrys, Plymouths, Dodges, and VWs. My price range was $20K or less, out the door and I was a cash buyer. The Nissan had all that I wanted in a car, (keyless entry, auto, CD) and had plenty of get up and go, even with a 4 cylinder. I couldnt be happier.
