Loaded 3.5 SE coupe - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Loaded 3.5 SE coupe - May 26 - 5:13 pmThis is a great car. I enjoy driving it very much. I have owned many nissan models for the past 20 years and I was an employee for nissan for a short time. I love the car a lot however I find the interior material fit and finish chip quality. There are some annoying clicking sound comes from? Dashboard area where windshield meets the dashbord. Also time to time I hear cracking sound from the sunroof which is extremely annoying. The headliner on the back has came off a bit and looks like crap.

Great value!! - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Ive - May 20 - 6:43 amThe ride is excellent. Its fun to drive, a much better vehicle against its competitors, however Im doing 19 mpg in town, instead of 24. Ive not been driving fast so I can get the best gas mileage. But overall is a great car. I have been enjoying it very much!!

Still Lovin It! Whoosh on! - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Raven - May 19 - 1:53 pmBought the 3.5 SE 10 weeks ago -- still a great ride! Do see the tire light when it gets cold but that seems to resolve when weather warms up again. Otherwise, no problems yet. Recommend you spring for the compass mirror with integrated garage opener -- available as an add-on from dealer.

Joy To Drive and Own 4Cyl Drives Like V6 - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Jason - May 1 - 3:10 pmI have now owned this vehicle for approximately 1 year and my experience has been fully satisfactory. I cannot think of a better sedan that offers this much power, style, great handling - all at a reasonable price! ENGINE: This vehicle handles like a V6 sedan, but uses gas like a 4CYL. It still surprises me that this 4CYL CVT engine can produce 175HP with powerful torque, and gets about 27MPG combined city highway driving - translates to about 530 miles to 20GAL tank (600MI all highway). HANDLING: When taking tight curves on the road, I have no fear to take them even faster, as the steering is responsive and accurate. >>> Extremely happy with my first purchase of any car! Highly recommended.

Great Sporty Car! - 2008 Nissan Altima
By krismuszynski - April 9 - 2:47 pmPreviously had an 07 2.5 Altima Sedan and LOVED it but wanted something sportier after a year of owning it. Lived up to exactly what its built to be, a front wheel drive sporty car! First trip was to North Carolina in the first week of owning the car, averaged between 70-75mph on the eight hour trip from Florida (may have given it the beans a few times on the hwy as well) and had a 31mpg rating both ways to and from NC. Decided to give the suspension a work out on the mountain roads of Pisgah national forest. The car handled beautifully! The ride is TIGHT though, dont expect a soft ride in the SE package. It is made to be sporty! Loved the car and would only change the turning radius.

Fun fun fun - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Lisa - March 27 - 2:40 amSwitching from a Yukon, it has been hard getting used to being the little girl on the road again, but this is the car to do it with! I drive a lot and I am getting 30 mpg average! Sporty, no longer look like the soccer mom, and fun to drive. Couldnt be happier with my choice. Kids are 13 (big and tall) and 10 (short and sweet) and fit just fine. No road noise, no wind noise, very well built car and 4cyl has plenty of strength, this coming from an 8 cyl girl (for over 10 years)! I have the basic, no bluetooth, no nav... and dont miss it a bit.

Love it! - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Andrea - March 2 - 7:13 amThis was a birthday gift from my husband. My first new car! Love the interior. The iPod hook up is perfect! The homelink is awesome. No more clunky garage door opener. The power isnt as good as my old Ponitac GTP, but this gets twice the gas mileage! Overall I am very, very happy with the vehicle. Stylish and young looking, yet its a great family sedan.

Honda Accord Owner for 15 yrs. - 2008 Nissan Altima
By wright1308 - February 14 - 8:43 amI have owned 5 Honda Accords over the last 15 years. I was about ready to buy another when I test drove the Altima. Immediately I could feel the difference. The Hondas are very smooth, reliaable and actually boring. I found the Altima fun to drive. I like the car more every day even though Ive only had it for a month. The leather seats seem more comfortable than the Accord and I like the home link. Hats off to Nissan for finally making a car that I feel is comparable and even better than my reliable, plain Hondas.

I LOVE this car - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Bren - January 23 - 7:50 amWe took delivery of our car about a week ago, and from the moment I sat in it, I was thrilled. Its fast, its sporty, its fun. I love the acceleration and the CVT is perfect for this car. Its got enough gadgets to satisfy the geekish part of me, and the gas mileage seems to be pretty good so far, although I havent driven it much yet.
