  • Great Ride! - 2008 Nissan Altima

I opted for a fully loaded 3.5 SE including the tech pkg and VDC; I struggled deciding whether or not to just get the prem pkg (no nav), but I am VERY happy with my decision. I love the bluetooth, XM radio, nav system with XM NavTraffic updates, & all of the voice activated commands. The car has excellent handling capabilities despite the front drive setup and the 3.5 V6 is as sweet as they come! My gas mileage has been surprising great (22 city/26 hwy) and the CVTs manual mode is a real hoot. I highly recommend this car to anyone cross shopping the Accord, Camry, or Malibu (and even the G35, 325i or C300). No regrets!

  • pretty good so far - 2008 Nissan Altima

This is the first nissan i have ever had. I came from a Toyota camry and I have to say the altima is much better. It is fast, very good pick up. The engine is quite loud for a 4 cylinder car though. One thing when you drive over 50 mph with the windows down you hear a seeping air noise coming from the driver side.

  • Frustrated with Nissan headquarters - 2008 Nissan Altima

I absolutely love this car! This is the first Nissan that I own. I waited about 4 years to get this car and now that I have, the radio went out. Now, with me preferring the factory look, I asked Nissan to back me up with this, obviously, its a defect. Nissan made me wait 3 weeks and then finally told me that they would not replace or even discount a new radio. I think this is crappy since the car is a 2008. This will definitely be the last Nissan that I own, not for the product but for the service! It seems like they would want to back up their products but once you purchase, its in your hands!

  • Very nice car - 2008 Nissan Altima

This is very nice car for the price. the gas mileage excellent, handling good, and very comfortable car. My other car is Honda Civic Si, but my sons love this car because of the comfort. The performance is not bad from a 4 banger also. If your looking for the ultimate affordable car, you should buy this one.

  • Finally! A Good Car - 2008 Nissan Altima

I just purchased my Altima and I love it. I love the way it handles, the interior is really nice also. I test drove the Hyundai and the Kia Optima and you cant compare them to the Altima. Forget the Toyota Camry unless you like an old lady looking car.

This car is awesome for such a price. Is extremely fun to drive with good acceleration and handling. Car looks very sporty and has drawn many compliments. At 55k miles in the two years we have owned it, there has been no issues mechanically. Just bought new tires which is the first money into the car other than normal maintenance. The things I would like to change are the touchy brakes that can catch quicker than expected in comparison to other vehicles Ive driven and result in some jerky stopping once in a while. Also, could use a little more room in the car, but cant complain as anybody buying the car knows this when buying it.

Bought the 2.5S after driving the new Accord and Camry. I have had the car for about 2 months and 2000 miles now and can say I have no regrets. Gas mileage is pretty solid, with 30-32 mpg highway and ~25 in city driving. CVT takes some getting used to, but it delivers the right gear and gets the most out of that engine.

  • I love the car; however... - 2008 Nissan Altima

The car drives wonderfully with great pickup. Around town driving got 20 mpg on the first two tanks and 21.8 on the third. Lots of well-designed storage space. The basic radio/cd player sounds great and picks up far-away stations. I love the fold-down back seats. Heres the however: My cars taillights leaked when I got the car. The sensor on the passenger side airbag turns the bag off sporadically when a 160-190 lb adult sits on that side. The dealer cant find the problem. There is no manual override to force the airbag to function, so my passengers are sometimes in danger. The "youve left your key in the car" alarm sounds when my key is in my pocket outside the car.

  • Glad to be back - 2008 Nissan Altima

I have owned a number of new vehicles and had left Nissan when I had a paint issue with my 2001 Altima. My last car was a 2004 Camry and when it came time to trade I headed back thinking I was going to like the new Camrys & was very disappointed. My husband & I decided to try Nissan again and fell in love with a 2008 Altima. Even though its a 4cyl. with the CVT its perfect. The price, style and options were amazing for the price. It definitely beat Toyotas line up. If you want something sporty, economical and fun to drive, this is it.

  • Love My Nissan - 2008 Nissan Altima

Well I just bought it a week ago and so far I love everything about the car! It has a wonderful drive and even with a 4 cyl the put up is amazing! Coming from a V6 I was a little worried but the pickup really surprised me. The only thing I can think of that I would change would be the leg room for the driver. Being a very long legged person, after a long drive the leg room falls a little short. Other than that, so far this is by far the best sedan Ive ever owned!
