All M-Class models get an interior facelift available in one of three new colors, optional third-row seating and a Touch Shift automanual transmission. ML320 buyers get body-color bumpers and trim, real walnut inside, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob, revised interior fabric, seatback map pockets and footwell lamps. In addition to these items, a standard navigation system, high-grade leather, and heated seats come on all ML430s.
- Lots of interior space, quite comfortable, carlike ride and handling, excellent snow vehicle.
- Poor reputation of build quality, looks like a minivan, not particularly adept off-road.

ABS pump, ebay 46.00,mechanic 1000-1400 , ps rack 650.00 mechanic 1500.00, front pads, sunroof issues, catilytic converter broke in two, had it tig welded .overall very happy but I am fairly skilled DIY, dont buy if you are relying on dealer or mechanic to fix your maint. issues .

I have NOT been dissappointed. THe dealership has repaired any problems, usually before I notice them. They have taken exceptional care of me and my vehicle, probably because I have been a customer since 1975.

By omega1849 - June 24 - 2:00 amThis car is a powerhouse of fun to drive. The car responds better than any SUV I have ever driven and it has a fully integrated GPS system (1st of its kind). My only problem with the car is the low profile tires, which I have had to replace every once a while.

By joes - May 31 - 10:36 amBought as a certified vehicle with 25K on it. Now has over 100K and is as solid and smooth as ever. Minimal problems were covered by warranty. Gas mileage better than expected (16mpg in town/20mpg on road). Great vehicle. I am looking for another one with the diesel engine.

By Amina - February 23 - 6:53 amI had it since 2000 it now has 27k it still runs superberbly. My husband takes it off roading all the time, its great.The car doesnt catch peoples eyes as much as it used to because the M-class is all over the place now, but it is still my baby.

The best M-class ML430 - 2000 Mercedes-Benz M-Class
By skye - January 8 - 12:33 pmFirst off I live in East Hampton Long island N.Y. where the M-class is rarely seen.But in N.Y.C.(Brooklyn) they are all over the place (ML320350s and 500s)but not ML430s they stand out they look a little more unique because of their bigger rims and smaller body. I love this SUV it is so great it has a powerful V8.Check it out!

By TigerCt - December 2 - 10:00 amThis SUV has been the best choice in an automobile purchase I have ever made. The ML320 is pure joy to drive and I love its style. Ive added 17" rims and grille guards, side rails and tail light grilles all by WAAG which gives the ML320 the "Urban Warrior" with class look. The MLs interior is extremely comfortable and the amazing color screen which acts as the radio/cd/ navigation/phone etc. is amazing.
