This Year's Model Updates:

After last year's revamping of the CLK coupe, the convertible (Cabriolet) follows suit this year, sporting the same sleeker body style, along with a soft top that boasts greater outward visibility than before as well as key fob-operated usability.

Pros:
  • Sleek styling, solid chassis, composed ride, comfortable front seats, fast power top operation in Cabriolet.
Cons:

  • Luv My CLK - 2004 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class

At first, I was skeptical to go back into a coupe. My two previous vehicles were SUVs. The body style is what first caught my attention. I also like that you do not see the CLK everywhere you go. After the test drive, the only question was cabriolet or coupe. The CLK drives so well and handles even better. I would like to have better gas mileage, but the safety features far outweigh an extra 5 mpg. I may never need the airbags or SOS, but just knowing they are there gives me peace of mind. This is a fun car to own and drive.

Took delivery of CLK 500 Cabriolet this month. So far have had no problems with the car. I ordered it in september and it has been worth the wait. Keyless go is great. The seats are very comfortable but wish I had had the foresight to order ventilated sport seats.

Seems the Germans hit this one out of the park. Top opens easily, style to spare, a real head-turner. Mine is triple black & I love it. Sounds like a real super-car and performs like one as well. Ive had other sports cars but this one is my favorite for several reasons listed and some not willing to admit to here. Cant wait for the CLK63 as soon as my lease is up. • I don;t think so in the winter - 2004 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class

  • 2004 Mercedes CLK 320 Cabriolet - 2004 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class

I have had the car a week and if initial impresssions are lasting then I made the right decision in purchasing the most expensive car I have ever purchased. However, I figure with its higher than average residual value that I should recoup something more at the end. The car is a delight to drive - it gets stares wherever I go (with many oohs and ahs) - people tell me how beautiful it is and the color combination is perfect: pewter with ash interior w/Black top. I dont like to write long reviews - I will simply state it was worth the money (paid exactly MSRP) and the wait (six months).

  • good looking and beautiful - 2004 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class

at first sieght it took a little getting used to, since the previus model was so "mercedes" but once the newnes took on i loved when i drive with the open look all windows down the only thing that compares is the cl500, check the bmw 6 at almost twice the $$$ and no back seat, and as good lookig as the 6 is i still go for the clk. for practicallity and value, even if the depreciation factor in not taken into accaunt. to judge by previos 6 and the 7 get ready for a bath.and i can not stand the i drive

The perfect convertible. Delivery by Crown Motors BHM was excellent; Styling, performance, handling, ride comfort and quality are 10s and make this a great value. The engine is a real gem and I love just to hear it start. You can tell the engine is serious. Rear seat has adequate leg room given it overall dimensions. The one buttom top open/close is amazing.
