Finally moving up from Accords. I purchased this black Benz a week ago with the automatic transmission, sunroof package, heated seats, and CD changer options. This car offers an excellent combination of luxury and performance. Interior room is fine for those up front, but a bit snug in the rear. So don’t buy this car based on its people-hauling ability. After test driving the Audi A4 and Acura TSX, I realized the C230 Sport was the best choice for me. Whether or not it is better than the 325i or A4 is a matter of opinion, but you owe it to yourself to take this car for a good long test drive. Dealing with the Mercedes dealership was a pleasure.

I had this car two weeks ago, and it is a blast to drive it. Excellent power from the supercharged 4 cylinder. Quality interior finish.

I look so good in this car! Love the emblem. Cloth seat not such a good investment and handling in rain/snow can get a little scary. Overall, the car drives very well. It was purchased as a certified used & came with an amazing warranty. All service is free. There was an issue with the carbon intake valves that they said had been occuring so be aware, but thanks to my warranty that was also fixed for free. It has been an ease in every aspect.

Super fast when needed. great gas mileage 32MPG hwy. sporty and super fun to drive. Cant believe I fit into this as well as I do. 62 and weigh 285lbs. very comfortable and roomy for myself and girl. plenty of room in the trunk even though it could be a little deeper. great sounding stereo with all features you could ask for. Just love this car! Purchased from the original owner in 2011. Had 54,600 miles and not one little dent, tear etc. even smelt like it came straight from the factory. best 11,500.00 I ever spent!

  • Fun little sedan - but could stand design improvements - 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

I purchased this 2004 C230 Sedan Sport one year ago with about 56K miles on it. Within a month the CEL came on and required a new engine harness and two O2 sensors to repair. The 1.8L engine had a cam sensor design flaw which leaked oil into the harness (cam sensor seals were replaced under a MB recall by previous owner, but not the oil saturated harness). A month later a coolant pipe began leaking at the rear of the cylinder head (I replaced this myself). Since then, the car has run nicely - although I do get high speed vibration on certain stretches of highway (probably due the the low profile tires). Recently purchased an extended warranty - just in case.

Decided to move up from a Honda Accord, and cannot believe the difference between the two vehicles. Everything about this car is amazing. The vehicle dynamics alone should be a selling point. Just got back from a trip up to Morro Bay, Ca., and avg. close to 29 mpg @ 80+. More importantly though, is how this vehicle behaves, whether its the steering, braking, or cornering, it really shows its heritage, especially when compared to my Accord. Dont get mewrong, the Honda was a great car, but there is no comparison between the two.
