This Year's Model Updates:

Changes are light this year. Mercedes' "4Matic" all-wheel-drive system is now available for sedan and wagon models (the C32 sport sedan being the lone exception) and the C230 Sport Coupe's supercharged engine has been revised for greater efficiency and lower emissions. A six-speed manual gearbox is available for the C320 models, and a supercharged C230 Sport Sedan is now available as well.

Pros:
  • State-of-the-art safety and luxury features, three body styles to choose from, pleasing power from V6 engine.
Cons:

  • If Mercedes Benz built a Mustang - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

If Mercedes Benz built a Mustang; this would be it. I have had my C320 coupe for almost 3 years and a little over 30K miles. It is one of the rare ones equipped with short throw a six speed manual. (Less than 50 C320s with manuals where imported from Germany). The car continues to make me smile everytime I drive it. The acceleration is impressive, the handling tight and the fuel economy, surprisingly good. There will never be a Mercedes quite like this one in the US again; too bad. Ive heard that the C350 version in Europe (278HP) can do 0-60 in 5.4 sec.

First class automobile and fun to drive. Really turns heads and gets compliments. Service intervals are very impressive (11000 miles before first service visit)Wow, do that with a domestic!

We just bought the car acouple days ago and its amazin. Its cheap and perform the best. The stereo is a blast the speakers will blow u away. I like the sportish look to it. Its alil small that was the thing I dont really like bout it. So if your lookin for a family car go with the C320.

  • What a value - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

ar is extremely fun to drive, and I havent had one problem with it so far with a little over 3,000 miles so far. Youll definately want to look into the Panorama roof, and leather seats. And the top of the car looks cool, because it looks all glass, which is a nice touch. The leather seats are comfy but not too firm. Theyre perforated, which adds an extra sporty touch. The steering wheel feels great in your hands, and the buttons on there operate the little info screen in the dash, which has a lot of info to offer at any time. Good head room in the front, but not that great in the back, because it slopes down so much near the rear of the car.

  • My first Mercedes - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

I actually never really considered purchasing a Mercedes. They just seemed like another overpriced brand name car (such as BMW). After shopping for a new Accord coupe (a comparably equipped one will cost $22K), I decided to check out the C-class coupe since it was in a comparable price range. I love the car after test driving it. It is by far the most fun vehicle Ive ever driven thats under $30K.

  • What a Car! - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

I usually trade cars every year but I may actually keep this one! It drives and handles great. Alot of fun to drive.

  • I love my C320 Sport - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

My car is as fully loaded as it can get, including the COMAND system, sport pkg, and voice control. Contrary to what alot of car magazine editors are saying, I have absolutely no problem using the navigational system or the voice recognition program or all those helpful buttons on the steering wheel. And they call themselves car enthusiasts. Hah! I would have gotten the C32, but my wife said that I would have gotten myself killed.

  • The 4MATIC is great. - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
    By -

I am really enjoying the C240 4MATIC because of the great lines, quiet, stable ride, the unbelievable handling and the overall fun factor of this car. The two real reasons I considered this car were the many safety features and the all wheel drive. The head, side and front air bags give great piece-of-mind. On the lighter side, the Bose stereo sounds great, the ride is ultra-smooth and very quiet, the leather interior is very comfortable, and the dual-climate control come in very handy.

  • thumbs up for this baby benz... - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

this baby benz (c240/w203) could pack more power but other than that it rides you to sleep. this car is for pure comfort and not made to go fast. i guess its better that way because it does make necks turn as you drive by slowly...

  • Oh Lord, please let me drive a Mercedes - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
    By -

This vehicle is a head turner. I had it moving very fast on the highway...The higher the speed the smoother the ride~absolute beautiful vehicle. I would like to say the heated seats are wonderful~Would recommend rear heated seats~Mercedes does not offer this in the rear~not a problem though, the rear heat is excellent~
