This Year's Model Updates:

Changes are light this year. Mercedes' "4Matic" all-wheel-drive system is now available for sedan and wagon models (the C32 sport sedan being the lone exception) and the C230 Sport Coupe's supercharged engine has been revised for greater efficiency and lower emissions. A six-speed manual gearbox is available for the C320 models, and a supercharged C230 Sport Sedan is now available as well.

Pros:
  • State-of-the-art safety and luxury features, three body styles to choose from, pleasing power from V6 engine.
Cons:

  • Wow - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Love the gas mileage and performance on the highway. We tested about a dozen cars in the same price range before chosing the C230. The car drives like a 35K vehicle!

  • I am in love! - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

I am a Principal Engineer at a tier one Automotive supplier. I am also 28 yrs old. I needed a car that would be fun to drive, reflect prestige and above all, perform flawlessly to stand up to the toughest engineering standards. This car does it and more. Its perfect, nothing needs improvement (including the stylish cup holder). It is made in Stuttgart, Germany, excellent fuel economy, and SUPERB performance. Every single day, every single time, I am at a light, I race it against my neighboring vehicle. Till date, NOTHING has been able to beat its acceleration. It handles curves like a ... mercedes! Stability, comfort, elegance, style...! No other car (including the BMW) can satisy like this.

This automobile rides on clouds. You think that you are in an airplane, first class. 29 miles per gallon on the highway. Noiseless even when going over bumps. Hard to beat.

  • Best Car I Have Owned - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

This is the perfect sports sedan for the American road. I have driven and owned 911s and other performance cars, but nothing comes close to the overal package that the C32 presents. The gas economy is GREAT for a performace car; the only faster car in accelleration that I have owned is a 911 twin turbo; it will out handle any sedan I have driven and most sports cars. In addition, despite being 10 inches shorter it has almost as much room inside as a BMW 5 series. If you want a true perfomance sedan that is comparable to an M5 for less money get a C32

  • Best Buy ever - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

I looked and looked and Im glad I found this car. I had never own a Mercedes before but I can see why people buy higher class models. This car is super fun to drive. The air-con controls are a little odd. I just hope I made a smart choice.

  • Most excellent car - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

I love this car. The only thing I did to make it better was to install stiffer springs and swaybars. AMG swaybars actually. Directly from MBZ for only ~$200. Car drives like a sports car for real now.

  • Late 2002 model of C 320 Sedan - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
    By -

My C 320 4 dr sedan was manufactured in May of 2002. It took a few weeks to get acquainted with the menues and sub menues of the sophisticated electronic features. After this period I was very satisfied with the ride, comfort, and the many convenience features of the vehicle. It is fun to drive longer distances and great in tight parking situations. My car needed 2 minor electronic repairs and I was furnished a free rental car by the dealership each time.

  • WOW! - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Superior handling, very powerful for a 4-cylinder - great accelleration for a car this heavy, great selection of amenities, Classic styling, feels tight and quiet.

  • I like the CD player - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
    By -

I just picked up my C230 Kompressor Sport Sedan 5 days ago and have only put about 200 miles on it, so I cant comment on too much. That being said, I have read in several places that many people feel that MB made a mistake by not putting an in-dash CD player in the car. Actually I think it works best the way it is now. Each member of my family has their own CD magazine, or two. It is much easier to swap magazines than mess with CDs and jewel cases, especially while driving. The fact that the changer is located in the glove box (left side, even better) makes it much easier than the in-dash player to swap music around while driving solo.

  • Sweet C32 - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

The C32 is a great car to drive. I love the way the car picks up, lots of power to spare. If you get a chance test drive one. You will want to take it home.
