This Year's Model Updates:

Changes are light this year. Mercedes' "4Matic" all-wheel-drive system is now available for sedan and wagon models (the C32 sport sedan being the lone exception) and the C230 Sport Coupe's supercharged engine has been revised for greater efficiency and lower emissions. A six-speed manual gearbox is available for the C320 models, and a supercharged C230 Sport Sedan is now available as well.

Pros:
  • State-of-the-art safety and luxury features, three body styles to choose from, pleasing power from V6 engine.
Cons:

Not another Camry or Accord. More cost effective than BMW or Audi. Very good exterior style - turns heads. I was looking for a Passat, and when I saw the Mercedes and test drove it, I was sold.

  • Great Value - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

We looked at lots of competitors before we went with the 320 2dr coupe and feel great about the decision. This is a great value. Quiet, smooth, powerful ride and above average interior. The 320 has a lot more pep than the 230.

  • Great Car, Great Price! - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

The car has been driven nearly 200 miles so far, and still have nearly 2/3 of a tank left. Ride is comfortable, controlled, quiet, but not distant from the driver. Performance is great. Looked at the BMW 3 Series Coupe, the Audi A4, Infiniti G35 Coupe. In all, the 230K Coupe was the best deal. Some fluff options found on the competition are not found on the Mercedes. Driving the C230K Coupe was all I needed to know the car was more solid than the Audi A4, less expensive than a BMW 3 Series Coupe, better built than the Infiniti G35 Coupe. Also, the Merc stands out from the rest. This is a TRUE Mercedes at an exceptional price point.

  • Great little car - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Car is fun to drive but corners somewhat soft. The looks are great IMHO and still has the classic MB styling. The 230 is a great little engine with all the power anyone will ever need.

It was like love at first sight when I purchased my 2002 Mercedes Benz c240. It is such a beautiful car!! I have compared many cars before buying this and after driving it I just knew this was the one

  • Perfection - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Just got my 2003 C32. Handling is unbelievable - sticks like a magnet. Perfect balance of ride and comfort, not as harsh as M3. Understated elegance - looks intimidating but not obnoxiously so. Seats are great. Engine is awesome - sub 5 second 0-60 (havent pushed it yet, still breaking it in). Problem is, Im definitely spoiled.

  • Fun in a small package! - 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Eventhough the car looks small on the out side its roomy on the inside. Feels sport when driving and I have had positive feed back on its looks as well. An all around car at resonable price. After all its a Benz.

Looked for a car for a long time before settling in on this one. Very good value for the money. Great mix of performance, engineering features, safety, and style.
