Overview & Reviews
Now that the brilliant 6 sport sedan has been approved for production, the Millenia's days are numbered. Understandably, changes for 2002 barely register on the Richter scale. Are you ready for this? An auto-dimming mirror with compass is standard, and Snow White Pearl paint is changed to Snow Flake White Pearl paint. You can also get a Special Edition with a chrome-finished front grille, a black exterior and a black-and-ivory interior with titanium trim.
- Attractive exterior styling and interior design, supercharged Millenia S engine, competitive price.
- Cramped interior, weak base engine, lack of brand cache, floaty highway ride, aging platform.

Great car! - 2002 Mazda Millenia
By Grampa - January 28 - 4:53 pmI bought this car used - 2 years old with 26,000 miles. Ive now had it for 6 years and have had only tires and brakes needing replacement. Its been a great car and I love driving it. Just wish it was a bit better on mileage, but cant complain, cause it really gets up and goes!

LUXURY VALUE STYLE - 2002 Mazda Millenia
By MARK BETTERLY - December 25 - 2:00 amIved owned my Mazda for just a few months and I love to show it off. I got a great deal which made me apprehensive but the more I drive it the better I feel about my decision. I looked at acura, the avalon and infinity, I saved thousands. Ill admit this is my second Mazda, the last one was so reliable and the dealers services were so professional I had to go back, atleast to look. Yup they got me and I couldnt be happier.

Love it! - 2002 Mazda Millenia
By Paul - November 30 - 8:10 pmThis is my 3rd Mazda and my second Millenia and I love it! I bought this car new and as usual have not had any trouble with it, all I do is change the oil and tune it once in a while. The special edition is only made in black and has the titanium package, white and black leather with white inserts on the door. If you are buying used dont be fooled by the ads that state special edition but are other than black. I wish they still made them, its the best car I had, and will look for another if something happens to this one.

Great Value - 2002 Mazda Millenia
By Victoria - October 24 - 12:56 pmI am just about to finalize the purchase my second Millenia today. My first was a 1999 (2.5 L, not the S) which had 30k miles when purchased, used as a daily driver and sold with approx 130k miles, still strong expect for bad rear mail seal. Wonderful car aside from eventually developing the leaking rear main seal which these cars are notorious for. Luxury at a fraction of the cost and very dependable for the most part. If you can find one with low miles that hasnt been abused BUY IT.

A car worth to own - 2002 Mazda Millenia
By Hasham - September 6 - 11:26 amI bought this car after driving a Maxima and Lexus ES. The instant I saw it I was in love with this car. Its sporty, slick and luxury. It has more bells and whistles than other premium cars of its age. Super reliable in maintenance, nice smooth acceleration, great dash and interior lights. It is certainly an eye catcher car. All my friends want to buy it from me but I am not going to sell it.

Wow!! Best bang for the buck! - 2002 Mazda Millenia
By WJE - May 14 - 10:00 amIve owned my 2002 Millenia "P" for a whole week now. This an excellent vehicle. The ride is great! The sunroof is excellent - this is something we never considered purchasing. The side airbags, 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and security system take the cake - these are probably options I wouldnt have picked on another vehicle because they would have been additional options and not a standard like on the Millenia. I only paid $20,700 - including the $520 destionation fee. 4.99% financing for 60 mos. I still cant believe I was able to purchase this outstanding vehicle for $20,000 - somebody pinch me to convince me Im not dreaming!!

My 2nd Millenia in 2 years--great value! - 2002 Mazda Millenia
By Jeegee - January 12 - 2:00 amI picked up my 2nd Millenia yesterday and obviously love the car. The updates done since the 2000 model are nice and make the car seem even more upscale. I feel the suspension upgrades enhance the stability and seem to quiet the car. The new Optitron gauges are very Lexus-like. Overall, I cant say enough about what a great value Mazda has here when you can purchase this much car for the same price range as Accord, Camry and Altima. Zoom Zoom Zoom!

To Die For - 2002 Mazda Millenia
By Anthonys Millenia S - December 15 - 11:30 pmI leased this car brand new and after the lease I had to buy it. Its a great car, (good going Mazda). It has 47,xxx miles and all Ive had to do is change the oil and buy new brakes. Of course I buy a lot of extras just to assure its performance. Usually Mazda has bad transmissions but the Millenia S proved me wrong. Its a smart choice for a used car. When this one dies Im going to look for another one with low miles.

Im Driving a Luxury Car? No way! - 2002 Mazda Millenia
By MyMillenia - October 13 - 10:00 amSo my wife and I went to go test drive the Tribute and of course I was drooling over the Millenia but realized the sticker would end my life as I know without debt. Then my trusty salesman pulled out the VERY LAST 2001 Millenia. We went for a ride and asked what I thought? Great car $12,000 too much thanks but no thanks. Long story short, my wife and I brought the car home yesterday for the same price as the Tribute!!!!!!!!

Smooth Ride - 2002 Mazda Millenia
By pimpd79 - August 27 - 2:00 amThis car turns heads everywhere I go. People are shocked to see the driver especially me being a single young adult who should be driving something like a tricked out Honda civic or some under 18k four banger.
