nice suv - 2005 Kia Sportage
By Tanya - June 16 - 4:13 amThis is a nice small SUV. I just wish the gas mileage was a little better. I came out of a small car and I could get so much further on a tank of gas. With prices rising that is important. My kids love the roomy space and they picked out the car and they are very satisfied.

My First Car - 2005 Kia Sportage
By Daryl Joy - May 26 - 12:46 amVery nice exterior look, roomy interior, excellent warranty (10 years/100,000 miles). My husband loves the headroom, legroom, interior space (passenger and rear seat folds flat). Has an option for auto or manual driving. At a rear glance, people thinks its a Range Rover...front glance looks like a CRV. CONS: we only get 19 mpg highway (87 octane)

Much improvement over my 2002 - 2005 Kia Sportage
By Jeff - May 3 - 6:16 amI was not as happy with my 2002 Kia sportage Ex 4x4. I was looking at honda crvs when I heard of the new 2005 Sportage. Almost certain I wouldnt buy another one I went and test drove one. First of all it looks more expensive than my 2002. It is built much better and more expensive interior parts are used. I am amazed at what I got for $21,000. (and yes this is the top of the line model!) Lets just hope its better mechanically than my old one. Only time will tell.

Mileage disaster - 2005 Kia Sportage
By imtoad - April 18 - 1:40 amI really enjoy this car except for the mileage. It is rated 19 mpg city but despite the fact that I am very rarely ever stuck in traffic, I rarely average over 14.2 mpg.

05 SPORTAGE LX-6CYL, - 2005 Kia Sportage
By jr - April 2 - 6:33 pmThe new Kia Sportage is very roomy on the inside, and there is lots of room for backseat passengers. When I first saw the Sportage, I couldnt believe it! The size of this new compact suv, it sure has nothing in common with previous models. The ride is carlike and smooth, quiet, and comfortable. The stereo and ac controls are easily in reach. The steering wheel tilts to adjust to the driver, and the seats have lumbar adjustments. When comparing the Sportage to other suvs, the standard safety equipment which includes 6 airbags, ABS, traction control and the awesome 100,000 miles warranty made the choice an easy one. I highly suggest you test drive this vehicle, youll be happy you did!!

better than my old rav4 - 2005 Kia Sportage
By Love my Kia - February 21 - 7:36 pmI have always been impressed with my Toyota. After having the Sportage for only five weeks, it has really impressed me. I went with the Kia because it was less money, and I got the leather and all the other bells for a great budget!! The drive is extremelly comfortable, with a great ride, and even with the compact size its very roomy. The v6 is peppy and still gets great gas milage! This is a SUV that is great for commuting and for long trips. Over all the Sportage is one you have got to take a look at.

First SUV - 2005 Kia Sportage
By bstarrb80 - January 16 - 11:46 pmI always considered myself a sedan girl and the first time I test drove the new Sportage I was in love. It actually handles better than my car which was a 2002 Saturn L200. The gas mileage could be a little better.

I dont care about the name "I LOVE IT" - 2005 Kia Sportage
By Issac - December 29 - 9:40 pmI didnt realize untill i did my shopping that this comes with ESP, Traction control, and Anti-lock brakes all standard! And with the 10 year warranty, theres no other small SUV at that price that can compete.

Great vehicle! - 2005 Kia Sportage
By Jose - November 6 - 11:33 pmThis vehicle has blown my mind as far as performance, gas mileage, style; basically, everything about the Sportage has been beyond my expectations, let alone the excellent warranty it carries.

best car I have ever owned - 2005 Kia Sportage
By Joe Ardenger - November 5 - 3:16 pmI was skeptical when purchasing my Kia Sportage. But it did not take long for me to realize that this truely is the best of both worlds. Not only did I save thousands of dollars compared to Honda and Toyota, I have alot more features. The electronic stability control is magic, the car takes over in emergency manuves, to maintain control, the ride is outstanding, and the V6 engine is smooth and efficient. I was worried what people would think if I bought one, and know I realize that Kia is a true contender in the market, and I will enjoy this for years to come.
