There is no doubt that this Jeep is the most well Engineered Vehicle, well thought, built with perfection, designed with excellence, has great comfort and great performance. This Jeep will take you about anywhere you want to go. I truly believe that there is not and automobile on the market today from any automaker that has produced such an outstanding vehicle as the Jeep trailHawk. My TrailHawk gets excellent gas mileage, a very smooth ride, and the performance is great. It is my perception that this is the best vehicle of its kind on the road today.

  • Latitude V6 - Very Nice - 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Purchased a 2014 Latitude V6 with the 8.4A screen, added the Nav upgrade and the 9 speaker/sub/amp option. Also splurged for the V6. This was purchased for my teenage daughter, so when shopping for a small/mid SUV, coolness was definitely at the top of the list. This was the only SUV that she liked and we looked at the Escape, CRV, Rogue, Rav4, CX-5. In her eyes, none of them matched the design or styling that appealed to my teenager. I was a little disappointed that the only way to get a rearview camera, garage door buttons and a n auto-dimming rearview mirror was to upgrade to a $2000 package. I remember when these were standard features on a mid-level trim vehicle.

  • Cherokee at 4000 miles - 2014 Jeep Cherokee

First and foremost I have been a jeep guy for several decades so I do like the product. This is my 8th Jeep and my Trailhawk replaced my beloved 2006 Liberty CRD that was mint at 100,000 I must say! The Cherokee has exceeded my expectations in all ways...the car is fun to drive the V-6 has a ton of power the MPG are over 20 all the times. I have had zero issues over the first 4000 miles, I took it in for the lastest transmission flash but I was not having any issues or problems. The best vehicle in its class for sure, a little on the procey side when you get it loaded up and I do not like the 15.5 gallon gas tank that is filled from the right side. Great vehicle in all aspects.

  • Switched out X3 for V6 Trailhawk and couldnt be happier! - 2014 Jeep Cherokee

I went for all the bells and whistles. The car is sharp on the outside and luxurious on the inside. It is solidly built, downright peppy with the V6, and full of high-end technology and safety features. On the third day of ownership, the crank shaft sensor failed and car was in the garage two days; however, it is working well since the repair.

  • New Transmission at 2K miles! - 2014 Jeep Cherokee
    By -

Well, I had such high hopes. After an exhaustive search, I finally thought I had found the perfect vehicle for me in the new Jeep Cherokee. But just after I crossed 2,000 miles the transmission died. Yes, you read that right -- 2,000 miles. Ive now been without my Cherokee for a week and there is still no timeframe for when I will get it back (or even if they are going to fix it correctly). Apparently, they "lost" the new transmission somewhere between the factory and the dealership. Its really too bad, because there is a lot to like about the Cherokee. But I guess I will be use the NC Lemon Law refund and buy something else thats more reliable. Frustrating...

  • Better than anticipated - 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Cherokee Latitude. V6, all the bell and whistles except sunroof. I bought this right before winter, and thank god for that because it was the worst winter of all time. This car had the most confident foul weather ride, and before this I had a tech loaded A4 and a 12 Wrangler. I remember having to ride up a 30% grade for at least 800 feet, and I hardly felt a slip. The car is a beast in the snow. The technology they put into the traction system has to rival some of the best SUVs on the market. Very pleased do far.

Very pleased. Gas mileage has gone from 16 mpg to 27.5 mpg on the same route. Did not need 4wd or Awd . Happy with the performance of 2.4 engine. I dont mind how the 9 speed transmission works to maximize efficiency.

  • Best SUV Ever!!! Very Happy with Purchase! - 2014 Jeep Cherokee
    By -

I did a ton of research on SUVs - Ford, Toyota, Mazda, Acura, Honda etc...and I initially leased the Grand Cherokee as I couldnt decide between the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee. The first night I drove the Grand Cherokee home I hated it. The dealership was awesome and let me switch to the Cherokee Limited V6 w/ Panoramic roof, loaded. It is the best driving, most comfortable car with the best technology I ever had. I am so happy with the purchase and love driving this fun car. Perfect if you have kids yet want to drive in poor conditions yet want to go out at night or drive on the highway. I completely recommend it.

  • Poor Quality and Reliability - 2014 Jeep Cherokee
    By -

My Jeep is now just over 3 months old (4k miles) and has visited the dealership with major problems twice. First, the transmission shifts in low gears are terrible; not what you would expect from a new vehicle. A software updated reduced, but did not fix the issue. Second, the electrical system in the car is suspect. It went haywire on me. The windshield wipers turned on and couldnt be stopped, the turn signals went out and the odometer was flashing non-stop. Of course, by the time I reached the dealership it was asymptomatic, so I was basically told, to bad, bring it back broken. Hopefully next time the electrical goes out nothing more serious occurs. Buyer beware on this vehicle.

  • 2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude V6 FWD - 2014 Jeep Cherokee

I purchased this vehicle a couple weeks back and I already have near 2000 miles on the vehicle. This past week I drove it to West Virginia from Georgia. Three adults and a fully packed cab, I still managed to get around 30 to 31 mpg on the highway. Handled exceptionally well in snow and dry land. Jeep did a great job with the interior design not to mention the comfort. The stitching seems high quality as well as everything about the vehicle. I have the factory base sound system and it seems to sound just as good as the upgraded speakers. The center console display is very easy to manage and is well placed. I am very pleased with the overall performance of the vehicle. Highly recommend it.
