2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited FWD - 2014 Jeep Cherokee
By srdjdcat - March 12 - 9:31 amI needed a mid-size family SUV and did a ton of research. I opted for a fully loaded Cherokee Limited with luxury/convenience/UConnect/V6 package. This is the only vehicle in its class where I really liked the blend of exterior and interior design. The ride is very comfortable, ventilated seats work like a charm especially since I live in Phoenix and the temperatures are 100+ degrees six months out of the year. The dash board is simple yet offers a ton of features and is veary easy to use. The navigation is excellent, satellite radio, all that. I loaded all my music on a 64GB SD card.

Love my Cherokee! - 2014 Jeep Cherokee
By rmcpnh - February 22 - 8:34 amI purchased my Cherokee (V6, not 4-cyl) after owning an Outback and I love this vehicle! Its comfortable and fun to drive. Admittedly, I havent had the car long (7 weeks), but to date, I have had no issues and would highly recommend the Cherokee to others. My husband and son are 62" and they both fit comfortably in the front seat and although they probably wouldnt enjoy a long trip in the back seat, there arent many cars in which they would. However, weve had two adults in the back (510"+) who were both comfortable for a two hour trip with the front seats pushed all the way back.

Dead within 2 months. - 2014 Jeep Cherokee
By jm87 - December 25 - 4:56 amI was very excited to purchase my new Jeep. That changed! I havent even had my brand new car 3 months and it is already in the shop. It has been in there over a week. It has died on me five times already. The dealership cannot figure out what is wrong. Ive heard nothing but good things about Jeep, but I am thinking I should have kept my old car that I had NO problems with. Not a happy customer at all.

Just finished 3,000 mile road trip - 2014 Jeep Cherokee
By bendbob - September 13 - 12:26 amWe got home yesterday from a road trip taking us a little over 3,000 miles of the western US. Very comfortable, well mannered under all conditions. We even did some mild off roading in Arizona and the car never felt anything but ready for more. In mountain driving it can seem to struggle a bit to find which of the 9 gears it really wants to be in at the moment. economy was what you would expect from highway speeds in the 80s (gotta love Arizona and Utah!) mountain roads and carrying 2 adults, one Spaniel-human and a load of gear. We came home from the trip more sold on the car than ever.

Trailhawk is Amazing - 2014 Jeep Cherokee
By master_v2k - September 4 - 6:36 pmBought one of the first Trailhawks that came to Southern California, after harassing the plethora of jeep dealerships on a daily basis and even insisting on a deposit which they couldnt do due to the many delays that plagued the cherokee in the beginning to middle of last year 2013, Shaver Jeep in Thousand Oaks came through in November. Its now March and couldnt be happier. I didnt want the pricier Tech option, but I couldnt wait anymore, so I got the top of the Line Fully loaded V6 with every option available, sticker was around 41,900. Own a cabin in the mountains also, so it does come in handy

Quite a SUV - 2014 Jeep Cherokee
By sanio - July 12 - 12:23 pmAs mechanical engineer I have always tested many cars prior to make a personal choice. My last car was an Infinity FX35 with a rate of satisfaction of 90% well over BMW and Mercedes ones. This Cherokee V6 - 4x4 is fully equipped, with a drive as soft as a limo and yet quite reliable in all weather conditions. I recommend nokian wrg3 tires, you will love the silence and control level in all weather conditions. My v6 Cherokee, in spite of an updated transmission program was hanging in 1st and second gear. A "flash" review was quickly completed by the dealer after 800 miles for a perfect result. I love this car, congrats to Fiat and Chrysler ! Choose the V6 over the 4 cylinders.

after 80 days stilll not very happy - 2014 Jeep Cherokee
By vlowe945 - April 28 - 9:44 ambought w/ 2 miles on it, 2nd day wouldnt start, been in the shop 6 times & towed once, transmission malfunctioned the ck engine brake & esc light came on then rolled forward down the driveway in reverse, it said service transmission & needed computer updates. when started it idles high then acts like its gonna die & smooths out, taking off from stop it shimmys from side to side. on the interstate with cruise @ 70 mph rpms are 2200 but plus or minus 1 mile the rpms drop to 1850, I resorted to video recording every time I got in it as evidence of trouble, have a active case with Jeep but if there is a issue and it doesnt throw a code its not fixable! but I did get a 6/60k free maint.

Awesome Vehicle! - 2014 Jeep Cherokee
By claw96 - January 28 - 8:40 amThis is one of those vehicles that you have to see in person. The pictures dont do it justice. It is a beautiful car and drives like a much more expensive vehicle. Fuel economy was one of the main reasons for considering it(as well as the looks). We are averaging 27.5-28.5mpg combined and on the interstate/highway we average 29.5mpg. We have never averaged less than 26mpg. It has handled great in the snow and ice even though its only FWD. It has one of the most comfortable rides that Ive experienced while test driving other crossovers. The 2014 Cherokee is an amazing vehicle and has an overall great personality. If youre looking for a new crossover, you should definitely check it out!

Jeep is making a comeback! - 2014 Jeep Cherokee
By swade20 - October 27 - 11:39 amI have 1400 miles on my Cherokee Latitude 4X4 4 cylinder and so far Im loving this vehicle. In comparison, my wife has a 2011 Honda CRV EX AWD, and it has also been a great car for our family. The Jeep feels more refined however. The 4 Cylinder is quite adequate if not more so. The transmission seems to be getting smoother as the vehicle breaks in. After a bit of lake effect snow in Michigan, it does awesome in bad weather-up to 15 inches of snow tested so far. Minor quirk is that the heating cooling always resets to hottest or coldest setting upon restart, and cargo area is smaller than our CRV. Otherwise I am very impressed with this vehicle. If it lasts it will be a great buy.

VW bug to a jeep - 2014 Jeep Cherokee
By sk_jo11 - March 26 - 4:57 amMost amazing car!!! I cannot convey to you how amazing this car is. It is perfect for everything. I use it driving to work and get 28-30 to the gallon on mixed roads with hills. 24-26 In town. And up to 36 on the highway but usually 32 on a trip. Millions of features and you can customize your dash. Tons of room. most comfortable seats since my 1991 chrysler new yorker. I am telling you this is SO worth it. The remote start and heated seats in cold weather is the best. Heated cloth seats was the best invention ever!!! Yes brand new so there will be problems. Not only brand new car but brand new model. My fog light sticks on, but dealer will fix it. I love this car it is the best investment.
