Overview & Reviews
From the ground up, this is a completely new sport sedan based on the new Ford midsize platform. Lincoln worked with Jaguar to develop this platform, which is also used for Lincoln's LS sedan.
- High-tech features, practical design, classic styling.
- Has to prove its more than a rebadged, overpriced Lincoln LS.

No doubt the best loooking car on the road...but it is seldom on the road. Did not find dealership helful. I have purchased my last Jag. Give me my Mercedes back!

the most horrable nightmare - 2000 Jaguar S-Type
By hoser1 - June 9 - 2:00 amI LOVE the design of this car and I LOVE to drive it...when it is not in for repair...I drive a rental more than my own car because it is always in the shop...for weeks at a time. the dealer ship couldnt figure out why it would always miss between 40-60 mph so they charged me over and over to "fix" different things...finaly the check engine light gave them a code which indicated the coils of which there are 12 they have been failing one at a time and each time I am back, last time I didnt get 10 miles from the shop. I am now driving another rental!!!!!!

Buyers Beware - 2000 Jaguar S-Type
By adsharp22 - May 11 - 2:00 amWhile this is a beautiful looking vehicle, dont be fooled into buying or leasing for that matter. From day 1 we have encountered issues with electronical, steering, window motor, transmission, radiator, the battery and the list goes on. From driving down the freeway and having your trunk fly open to not being able to start the car on soo many occassions. What good is a beautiful looking vehicle if you cant trust whats under the hood?

Timeless design, is aging well - 2000 Jaguar S-Type
By jkirk - January 20 - 8:43 amThe classic S Jag still elicits "its gorgeous" comments. Looks aside, car performs on par with todays peers...powerful, quiet, and with excellent road manners. The Jag (knock on wood...and there is plenty to knock on) has been reliable with only one issue (radio went out).
