  • Second best car Ive owned . Feels luxury ! - 2004 Hyundai XG350

Very comfortable and smooth car styled for the older , upper middle-class . Often mistaken for a Lincoln of similar vintage , very classy . Great safety features and amazing warranty . Only car I enjoyed better was a Lotus Europa during my wasted youth .

  • Very Underrated Automobile - 2004 Hyundai XG350

I have had my eye on these since I spotted their reliability ratings in Consumer Reports. Clearly Hyundai had and earned a very poor reputation due to their early issues. They have come storming back, however. This car is not quite up to the level of Toyota (Avalon), Acura, or Lexus, but it is very close and a heck of a lot better value. I have only had it a short time, but if it holds up well, I may well find myself becoming as loyal to Hyundai as I have been to Toyota due to consistently superior quality and resale. NOTE: Gas mileage is not really as poor as people say. The issue is the drive by wire throttle and learning system. If you stomp the pedal, mileage will be very low.

Just bought the XG350L - our second Hyundai now. Fantastic value and solid quality and ride. We are very happy with the options and warranty.

  • Fun car to own and drive - 2002 Hyundai XG350

The first time my wife drove the new car, someone stopped her and asked about her new "Mercedes". When my son and daughter-in-law saw it, they thought it was a Porsche. We bought this car because it offers the luxury we want at a moderate price, plus a great warrenty. I love the Shiftronic transmission, which is close to straight drive, while wifey prefers the auto. The 3.5 has enough "pep" with the 5 speed to climb hills and pass easily. We have only had it a week, but are really enjoying it.

  • my first car, XG350L - 2002 Hyundai XG350

Looked around and test drove BMW, Lexus, Honda, and Camry. The sales people at those dealers werent reasonable and they just wanted my wallet. Went to a Hyundai dealer, no hassel, no pressure, and great people. XG350L had more standard features compared to other brands and it was an AWESOME value! After purchasing it, I drove to a mountain... handles & responds VERY well!

  • Give me more milage for my gas - 2002 Hyundai XG350

This is one great car. ive had nissan maxima and bmw 530i.. this is yet the best car i have droven. sure it cant compare to bmw on the performance but for the price of one 530i i can buy 2 XG350L!!! so far i have not taken this car to service. everything is great so far, except it eats too much gas. in conclusion, hyundai has turned their bad reputation of 80s into better. hope to see them become next honda or toyota

  • Too Much Trouble - 2002 Hyundai XG350

I bought this car becasue it had a good rating and it was much less expensive than a Toyota Camray or a Honda Accord and was very well equipped for the money. It has a quiet and very smooth ride at the expense of handling. I have had nothing but serious pronblems with the car including replacing the transmission twice! The tires lasted less than 35K miles and the front brakes and rotors had to be replaced at 55K miles. The rotors were warped and the dealer would not turn them on warranty. It cost $815 to have the timing belt and serpentine belt replaced which must be done at 60K miles to keep the warranty. I had to replace the battery after 2 years and 1 month!

  • A look at my car - 2004 Hyundai XG350

In general I am quite please with my hyundai gx350. One thing that is troublsome is the poor gas mileage. The other problem is the lighting on the temp. gauge is impossible to read. It is a fun car to drive and it give a very smooth ride. I hardly recomend this car

  • For the Money? WOW! - 2003 Hyundai XG350

I have owned other luxury sedans such as the Seville and es300. The Seville was my favorite, but could not afford to continue to take the hit on depreciation. How ever I find the xg350 to be close enough to the es300 to justify the $12000.00 savings. If you drive alot of miles annually and want to change cars every three years with out accumulating the national debt, this the car!

  • A few returns service - 2002 Hyundai XG350

Have friend with XG300 that liked car. Tried XG350L and liked car. Had a few problems with car. Tranny went out at 30,000, dealer replaced. Took a couple of weeks, did get a new Sonata for loaner. Have had some problems with check engine and air bag lights comming on for a couple of days, then go off. Always seems to happen before I can get into dealer. Service manager at dealership has been very helpfull and good to deal with.
