  • Simply the best! - 2005 Hyundai XG350

Have put on 80,000 miles cross country driving - oil changes, gas and new tires our only expense. Comfortable, fast, great handling/cornering, totally reliable. We have averaged 24 MPG (US gallons). I have been driving 45 years and owned many cars in all price ranges. This is the best. The climate control does have a mind of its own sometimes but not a major issue.

My husband is the only careful driver of this car. He was thrilled to buy it, and has been fairly pleased with the performance. It is now over 2 years old, and has 11,000 miles on the clock. He just had an inspection done, and the brakes are gone already. The repair department told my husband that they usually only last to 9,000 miles. The radio has been just awful from the start. It has been in repair twice. Problem has not been resolved. Terrible to listen to on a trip to town, crackling all the time. So I end up putting an audio tape in.

  • I drive a lot and really like my XG-350 - 2002 Hyundai XG350

I do a lot of highway driving and this has proven to be the most comfortable vehicle Ive ever owned, especially considering the relatively low price. Frankly, I find it on par with my friends Lexus.

We got this 2004 xg350 about 3 days ago and love it. We are going to take it back at get the 2005 xg350L. This is one of the best cars for the price, you can not go wrong and with all the warranties, you are always covered. I will be writeing another review for the 2005 Xg350L we will be getting.

  • Carls review on the new XG350L - 2002 Hyundai XG350

I like this car, and suspect that it will only improve in power and styling in the years to come. Hundai makes a highly under rated and quality mid-size automobile.

  • Stuck in slow mode - 2005 Hyundai XG350

I have a 2005 XG350L. My most recent problem has been when I drive from a parking space my car only wants to go about 10 miles and hour no matter how much gas I give it. After a while it will go 20 mph no more. After that it finally takes off like nothing happened. This process takes about 5 to 10 mins. When taken to repair could not duplicate. So can not fix. Accel position sensor and fuel sensor have been replaced previously. I love my car, but it is not reliable. The outside body also is thin. It dents and scratches easily. I would not recommend this car to anyone. I am working with the Hyundai Motor America consumer assistance center now I dont know that it will help.

  • 350L - 2002 Hyundai XG350

This is our first Hyundia and were impressed with the 350Ls white/tan looks, warranty and no interest loan option. Weve driven 8000 miles so far, mostly long trips, and have enjoyed the comfort, lack of any major problems and people asking what kind of car we have. We have been averaging 25 mpg which seems low but may improve. We were disapointed that the doors dont lock when started on put in gear.

  • Not sure yet how I feel yet - 2004 Hyundai XG350

Pros: Nice features, great warranty, nice looking, not many around. Cons: Accelerator and brake are too close together - too easy to have one foot on both. My leather front seats are like sitting on boards. I cant beleive others say theyre very comfy. Air gets musty easily, though there may be some setting Im missing. Car accelerates from a stop a bit too quickly for my tastes, though Im used to 4-cylinder engines. Front, driver side, door lock seems to get stuck occasionally. Model has been discontinued, so parts may be harder to come by. Not many dealers around and Ive heard the company is in bad shape.

  • Features at a lower cost - 2005 Hyundai XG350

We bought the XG350L when we were looking to replace a fully loaded 1999 Chrysler LHS. Would have loved the new 300C but the price was prohibitive. The XG350L had all of the options our LHS had (and more) and was under $22,000. What a deal!
