Grins and complaints - 2001 Hyundai Tiburon
By Masked - October 5 - 10:00 amIve had minor problems as soon as I drove it off the lot. Auto-down on the p/w didnt work, Stereo is messed up, and the power locks stopped working. All have been fixed VERY quickly and Ive been very impressed with the dealer. Driving it has been fun and it corners well, but when I have a group of friends in the car to say the power is gone is an understatement. I also find the seats to be extremely uncomfortable, and Im only 6 feet tall. Interior is nice otherwise. Watching heads turn as I drive by cars on the interstate is also a hobby of mine now.

GT v6 6 speed - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
By GT - October 3 - 12:13 amI bought my hyundai tiburon smashed,. It took forever to fond parts, but when i finally did, i found out that the car is the most reliable thing in the yard. I was looking for a sprots coupe to replace my firebird, and when i saw this car i had to have it. I had to replace one belt at 44000 miles, but the wrong size was on the car so it is understandable. I can get 30 miles to the gallon, yes 30, and this is town and country driving. The car is comfortable. Although the seats are not powered they still have lumbar and all the other controls. This car is definitely worth it money in gold. Not to mention it beat most other stock tuners, and i have no power adders on the car.

Owner - 2006 Hyundai Tiburon
By my tibby - September 26 - 10:00 amLove this car however multiple problems continue to arise and costly at that. Of course from what Im hearing clutch problems are very common with these cars, Im a single mom who cant afford all theses costly problems.

Wolf in sheeps clothing - 2006 Hyundai Tiburon
By spc4artillery - September 20 - 7:18 amPurchased the car for about $12k with 32k miles beginning January of 11. Had the car for about 5k miles now and its been a great car. Only major complaints with the car is the clutch rattle, which Im told is normal. Rattle happens at idle in neutral with the clutch engaged. Other than that, the stereo is kinda hinky. A loud pop and it will quit. Turn the radio off and it will work properly. Car has plenty of low end grunt, handles on rails, and feels like a more expensive car than it is. Overall, Im happy with my purchase and would recommend it to someone else.

Impressive - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
By tobsterocks - September 20 - 2:00 amLets not go overboard here and rate this car a 10, anyone who does has no idea how to even spell the word "car". I should probably state that I havent bought this car or even seen it in person, but I know a lot about cars in general. Here we go. Hyundai has improved this car greatly, straying from their previous design (horrible if you ask me) and going more for a cleaner shape. They packed this car with power and went all out on options too, a nice bonus. Unfortunately it is a Hyundai and they do not have quality quite down yet. Re-sale is also going to be disapointing.

Super Car! (just avoid the dealer!) - 2005 Hyundai Tiburon
By Promyntheus - September 18 - 4:50 pmTest drove both the RX-8 and the 05 Mustang. MUCH more room inside than the Mustang, cool sporty looks like the RX- 8, better Warranty than both! Better value than both RX-8 or Mustang! I wager I get more questions about what kinda car the Tiburon is than I would driving an "everyone-knows-car" mustang (ho-hum) and the RX-8 which resembles most of the other Mazada models... Want a head-turner for low cost? This is the one youve been looking for!

Tiburon GT - 2004 Hyundai Tiburon
By Daniel J. - September 16 - 2:00 amI bought the Tiburon because of the looks and the warranty. I used to own a Hyundai Sonata 3.0 and was very pleased. Before buying the Hyundais I owned 5 new US made cars and always had to return to the shop for warranty issues, not with the Hyundais. The only time I go there is for the oil changes. Even that isnt expensive. Ill buy a Hyundai again!
