Turns a lot of heads - 2004 Hyundai Tiburon
By Laura - November 25 - 5:23 pmI loved it ever since I layed eyes on it. Mine is the Yellow S/E with the automatic trany. Its quick, but you really feel the power when you use the "sports shift." Its been hell though with the car, constantly taking it back to the dealer because of check engine light coming on after a month of owning it, (I bought it with 48 miles on it). It was just a silly emissions problem. Now today apx. four months later its going back because the air bag light came on. Its silly problems that make the lights come on. Nothing major. I definitely would not bad mouth the car in any way. And its pretty sad when you beat a Honda Civic that had all sorts of mods with your STOCK AUTOMATIC :)

Great car for a great price - 2008 Hyundai Tiburon
By clayt88 - November 23 - 6:36 pmThis is a great little car that my wife and I just bought after finishing college. Were very pleased, overall, with its performance. Weve had Civics and Mustangs in the past and this Tiburon rates right up there. It doesnt handle nearly as well as a Civic Si, but it handles better (and is more fun to drive) than a Mustang.

Awesome for the bucks - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
By Steve R. - November 21 - 2:00 amJust test drove yesterday and buying today. Cant believe how much car for the money. Its no Corvette but great fun to drive and the styling is superb. Japan better look over their shoulder because Korea is hot on their heels and at an affordable price.

Great Car, Lacking Clutch - 2008 Hyundai Tiburon
By Doug - November 12 - 7:03 amI just recently purchased my 2008 GS and I am very impressed with its appearances, and the smooth shifting 5 speed manual transmission. However, I have driven many manual cars, a Mustang Cobra, Jeep Wrangler, Camaro Z28, Honda Civic, and an Eclipse GSX; I have NEVER driven a car with such a weak clutch. The clutch seems to ruin the good fun of the car for me, however when it goes bad I plan on upgrading to a stage 1 Clutch Master FX100, and there shouldnt be a problem with it. Overall, the Tib is a great car, and has a lot of potential. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a sporty car within the 16-20k price range.

great car - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
By Mark - November 6 - 11:50 amI have had the car for about 2 years and nothing has gone wrong with it... other than a deer running into the side of it. (850 bucks) I have a cold air intake, catback exhaust because I felt like the 2.7 v6 with the 6 speed tran was a lil under powered with 172 hp. I also run premium fuel and Im at about 200 hp now, the 17 inch rims were nice but I replaced them with 18 inch black lighter weight wheels . stock the cars says it will do 0-60 in 7.2 sec, but I have it at about 200 hp and with the wheels at the track I ran it in 6.1 sec. The is a very fun car to drive stock or with some aftermarket parts. great car for the price, Take care of it and it will take care of you

In need of good customer appreciation!! - 2004 Hyundai Tiburon
By MichaelinDetroit - November 4 - 2:00 amJust because it is affordable doesnt mean the customer is always wrong! I have had a problem with it idling high, especially inbetween shifts, i have heard 3 different stories. I should have seen it when i test drove it, then i was told it was the throttle body which they fixed because the BBB was on their case, and then i was told i wouldnt have seen it when i tested because the computer changes the engine based on your driving. Which is a horrible idea that I have never heard of. Hyundai treated me like an idiot and they wanted no part in helping me. Also my fog light is not water tight and caused it to short out!
