Tiburon Or Bust - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
By eighty88 - April 26 - 10:00 amI put this car through its paces a couple weeks ago. Took a drive over the Cajon pass into Californias High Desert. I was in 6th gear all the way, and the car was hardly working. Stearing was precise and effortless. Go ahead and spend 5 or 7k more for a Toyota, or Mitubishi.

Tiburon Experience - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
By mushroomangel - April 22 - 5:56 pmI first feature I noticed was the beautiful rear end and since I realize thats what you end up looking at the most of the car in front of you while driving, I wanted a car with a gret rear ;-D - Then after the looks of the sheik exterior comes the drive. This car handles the road great taking turns with ease even if your zoomin a bit fast for a curve it just glides along like its attached to a track. The best test so far has been the rain. I drove thru hurricane rain conditions from VA to PA with truckers splashing an added monsoon of water on me & my car only skidded once the whole 7 and half hours of driving.

Head Turner - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
By barreto - April 3 - 10:00 amIve recently purchased a Tiburon. It doesnt look like anything on the streets (except for a Ferrari). Everyone has always something to say about the car. I really enjoy driving this car. For the price and warranty you cant go wrong.

Love My Deep Blue Tib - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
By Rick Bergeron - March 29 - 10:00 amThe body styling makes this a real head- turner. I often get the "what kind of car is that" question. Ive put 22,000 miles on it so far and they have been very good miles. It is comfortable to drive, very responsive, and a real joy to drive.

By Stickelpower - March 29 - 10:00 amWe where shopping for a second car. First is a Minivan and an old 93 concorde beater when we stumbled onto the Hyandai Tiburon. I think its the most bang and fun for the buck.

Junk! - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
By jamiedsmith - March 16 - 4:11 amMy Tiburon was a 2003 GT (2.7L V6) with the 6 speed manual transmission. The dual mass flywheel is a major design flaw that Hyundai refuses to acknowledge. I drove my car for four years and 40K miles and replaced the clutch and flywheel twice. Hyundai would not warranty because they consider this repair to be related to abuse. Ive driven cars with manual transmissions my whole life without ever having a problem! Im currently a part of the class action lawsuit against Hyundai for this issue. The plastic levers that let the seats fold forward were also constantly breaking. The lock actuators, outside and inside door handles, and window motors had to be replaced as well.

Autocross Wolf In Sheeps Clothing - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
By Corban - February 25 - 2:00 amI purchased this car last August and have been very pleased. I was trying to find a different sports car that was in my price range. The Tiburon is just that. First off, this car isnt really a drag car and really shoudlnt be compared as one. Where this car wins is on the road course track or AutoX. I have been AutoXing this car for the last year and have won serveral times with people in amazement that it is a Hyundai. If you like to AutoX this is a great car to have.

Best car every - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
By Keith - February 13 - 10:00 amI brought my car new in 2002. It has 20K miles on it. It has never given me problems. I drove it from coast to coast when I change duty stations. I still drive it to work. It will be my sons car in the spring. He will have fun driving it too. I would not trade it for anything. That is my Tibby.

Proud Owner - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
By Proud Owner - February 6 - 10:00 amI love this car!! The styling is the thing that first drew my attention. The styling is now what draws EVERYBODYS attention. Some people just plain stop in their tracks and stare at it. I have a black one. The power in the 4 cylinder is more than adequate. I have a 5 speed, so it is probably a little better for power than an automatic. . 31 mpg on the highway is awesome for this sporty of a vehicle. The 5 year bumper to bumper is also great.! I wish the Dealer would have dealt on it more. I had to pay sticker, but some are selling it for thousands more!!! This is my second Hyundai. I love this car company!!

Mid Life Toy - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
By Gregorio - February 1 - 10:00 amI test drove all the sports coupes I could find under $30,000.00. I came back to the Tiburon for two reasons. First, the styling, nothing on the market comes close except the Z 350 for ten grand more and if you wanted to spend the money you will have to wait for several months to get hosed by a dealer. Second, the car is just more fun to drive. My 6 speed GT handles like the car it look like.
