  • A GREAT RIDE - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
    By -

This car is definitely a great ride in all aspects of a sporty coupe. The handling is just awesome! So much torque is assisting the power output of the 2.7 V6 engine thats potent. Looks of this car is just amazing.. I think its one of the best looking sport compacts out there. No wonder this new tiburon made it to the list of 8 Great Rides award given annually by Sport Compact Car magazine. So many options for under 20,000 dollars. Great Styling, Great Performance, and Great Dependability all comes together in this car.

  • 2 year old Tibby - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
    By -

I got my Tibby 2 years ago today. I love it very much and plan to keep her for a long time. I get a lot of complements on it. Ive had Audi & Lexus owners come and say how much they like it. My clutch is still fine and I have a supercharger as well. There are a lot of products out there to customize the Tiburon. Its fun to drive and feels lite and sporty. Only problems I had are rattles, leaking sunroof, and paint chipping on the back bumper. The dealer tried to fix the rattles but theyre kinda still there. The leak and the bumper are also fixed by the dealership. Its just an awesome car for the price.

  • Most Sportiness for the Money - 2004 Hyundai Tiburon

This is a two-seater car. The "rear seat" is for lower insurance rates and gym bags. Im glad they fold down though. You can easily fit four 16" wheels with 225/60 tires in the back with room to spare. The rear wiper helps to see behind and when backing up in rain and snow. Beware with 05, dont know why it was discontinued for 05. Holds corners pretty well considering its smooth ride. Ive had mine for 13 months and put 20K miles on it. 2004 GT V6 6-spd with leather, ABS, moonroof, 360W sound with subwoofer. The 04 GT V6 was the only Tiburon that I could get the leather seats, 6-spd man trans, upgraded sound system with subwoofer, high spoiler, aluminum pedals all in one package. Great car.

  • I love my Tuscani - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon

The 2003 Tiburon(Tuscani) was totally worth the wait. She rides beautifully, she has a very sleek look, and you defintely get alot of attention in this car.

  • Ok car, but 3.8 litre looks tempting - 2005 Hyundai Tiburon
    By -

I have owned this moonlit blue tiburon for 10 months and have no major problems with the vehicle. The 360 wat infinity cd stereo system is great. The engine needs more power and I am considing getting a Mitsubishi Eclipse, after I test drive it, the price is almost the same and the engine sounds to be alot bigger. The only reason I may not buy the Eclipse is that the Tiburon has a little more leg room. I am 6 tall and the leg room is ok. I will have to see how the eclipse feels. The interior of the Tiburon is pleather and is ok and stylish but for the money there is more out there. The Tibby has been reliable and the 160lbs of torque is ok to drive but the 260lbs look more tempting.

  • I would buy it again - 2000 Hyundai Tiburon
    By -

I purchased the vehicle new. Three years later I have 91,000 miles. I have had to replace a fuel pump and seven headligh bulbs (problem with the manf of the bulbs - not the car). The dealership has been super and the car has been the most trouble free vehicle I have ever owned. I get 22 mph in the city and up to 33 on the highway. I was involved in a serious accident shortly after I purchased it, the car I hit was a Honda Accord who ran a light. I "T- boned" their vehicle and it was atotal loss. The Tiburon had to have the bumper assemply replaced - Total cost $880. Yea, I like my shark.

  • Update - 2008 Hyundai Tiburon
    By -

I now have over 1200 miles on my Tiburon, and thought Id give an update. I finally broke in the engine, and starting at about 500 miles, my usable power increased dramatically. The engine now responds much more quickly when I hit the accelerator. The car is listed at 17 mpg in the city. That is what I get. It is listed at 23 mpg on the highway, but on a recent trip I got over 30 mpg at 75 mph. I still wish the GT Limited had an available 6-speed manual, or at least a 5-speed auto.

  • Woo-Hoo! - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
    By -

My lowrider was totalled out by the insurance company so I had to get a new car. Looked at Protege5, RSX, WRX, Mustang, Matix,& Celica for 2 weeks. Went to Hyundai, last on my list. Wanted something really neat. Saw the 2003 Tiberon and purchased on the spot. Didnt even know what the car came with until already purchased, salesman gave new keys and went thru the checklist : GT 181hp V6, leather, 7-speaker Infinity w/sub, cruise, power everything, & Shift-orama! Boy was I surprised when I drove home. This thing is quick and responsive. I always wanted a red sports car.

  • Best bang for the buck ever! - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
    By -

For twenty grand this is more car than I ever expected. It out styles all of the Japanese competition and is a blast to drive. The V-6 is the only way to go. Bought this one for my wife so went for the automatic but every time I get in I reach for the clutch. It just feels like you should be banging through the gears.
