I love my Tibby. I have gotten so many great comments on it. I did have a lot of trouble with the power windows, but I think it had more to do with the certain dealership I had been taking it to. Overall, I love my car, especially the body style. Its so fun to drive, and I feel like a million bucks while Im in it.

  • I really like it! - 2006 Hyundai Tiburon

Since the first time I saw a Tiburon, I wanted one. Finally, in 2009, I purchased one. It was the first sporty car Id ever owned and I loved the low slung design. Unfortunately, after I drove it for a few months, I started to have trouble getting out of the door. Back problems soon followed. So I gave the car to my husband who loves it. I think I would have had the same back problems no matter what low-to-the ground car I had driven; it has nothing really to do with the Tiburon. When it reached 58,000 miles it suddenly stopped dead on the street. Fortunately, we were still within the warranty period (barely) and ended up getting a completely new engine under the warranty!

If you like the way it looks, you will love the way it drives. Just get in, let the generous options surround you and lean back and enjoy the ride. Very solid car and fun to drive. When I park it in the garage at night, I can hardly wait until the next morning to drive it again. Do yourself a favor, go drive one. You wont regret it.

I was originally looking at a more expensive sports car, but found that they werent very comfortable. The Tiburon was different. While not a Mercedes sedan, I found that Im comfortable driving it (By the way, Im 63" and 275 lbs). Its also the best buy around for the cost.

i was looking for a 4 cyl one but the dealer said that the gas mileage is 28/gallon, and the 6 is 24/gallon. since it wasnt much of a difference he sold it. what i like is that if you want to customize it with body kits or whatever, theres so many options out there to do so. i love the sound system, i like the smooth quite ride with great handling and when im driving it on the streets i get so many people to turn there heads which is pretty cool. of course mine is custom but what im saying is if you dont have alot of money this is your car. i had a lamborgini trying to race me, i didnt but it made me laugh.

  • 2006 Tiburon = Best Tiburon of em all - 2006 Hyundai Tiburon

So youre thinking about making a car purchase, however you want something different out there. Youre tired of all those 4 door sedans, that all look the same, drive the same, and are BORING...well no fear...because I was in your shoes about a year ago. The 2006 Hyundai Tiburon is an awesome Sports car! The look is great (especially yellow), the ride is comfortable and its got some juice to it too. Its a QUICK car, not a FAST car (theres a difference). The car simply stands out because of its engaging and creative look. So far in my one year of having it, zero problems with 20,000 miles of driving since I got it! Did I mention, its inexpensive?

Ive had this car for four weeks and Ive had so much fun with it. So far Ive racked up about 3,700 miles with it and I have to say Im definitely satisfied. When buying my car, I considered the Civic Si, Scion tC, Acura RSX, Mitsubishi Eclipse, Corolla Type S, and of course the Hyundai Tiburon. It was so typical to think "eww, korean car", but after many test drives, I picked this car because it had what others didnt offer (two-tone interior + leather, auto climate and auto headlights, V6!!!, etc). There are bad parts like the lack of a trunk opener on the remote (despite being electronically popped open), but i like this car. Dont be fooled by my long list of cons, Im just picky.

  • Cheap - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon

At first I loved this car. It was cheap and fun to drive, but after about 3 months things started to stop working. First my doors stopped locking whether I used the remote or tried to lock it from the inside. Then my back windshield wiper stopped working, and then I could no longer open my trunk from the inside. That winter I couldnt get into my car because it was frozen shut. I tried both sides and I ended up ripping off my passenger side handle. Luckily its a hatchback so I ended up crawling through my trunk. After a while my car stopped handling the way it used to and it felt unsafe and wobbly. Although many things stopped working this car never broke down on me

I have 1300 miles on my new Tiburon. Much fun to drive. The 4 cyl engine is almost enough power. I chose the small engine for the fuel economy, and its acceptable.
