  Fun sport car and great MPG vehicle!! - 2004 Hyundai Tiburon

  I bought this car back in April with 68,000 miles. . I am the second owner of the vehicle. So far, I am very satisfied with its performance, both in highway and city. It is a very fun to drive and very powerful for its 4 cylinder engine (I drive the 5 speed transmission). When it comes to mpg performance, it varies by fuel brand and driving conditions, like weather altitude, etc. I drive from Chino to Moreno Valley, California on a daily basis, and occasionally to the Los Angeles and San Diego area. Vehicle definitely performs better when driving close to those cities at sea level, and obtains better mpg under those conditions. After seven months, all I can say is that this is a great car!!

  Only problems Ive ever had were with the roof bracket. It keeps coming loose and Ive had it fixed now three times... this time I only made it about 7 miles from the dealership and its loose again. Other than that, I love this car!

  Warranty Stinks!!! - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon

  I really love my Tiburon, its so fun to drive but Ive only had it a year and now the clutch went out and it broke the flywheel. $1700.00 at the dealership!! What I dont understand is why am I being penalized because I own a maual transmission if it was an automatic I would actually reap the benefits of the bumper to bumper warranty! I actually own 2 mine has 57,000 mi. my husbands only has 33,000 his did exactly the same thing. The dealership claims this is a rare problem - bull!!!! Beware if the clutch goes out your in for a big repair bill!!

  This is my first car purchase. I am not a street racer but I wanted a smaller car, definately a two door, and it had to look cool. This is the smoothest ride of any car I have ever been in. When I do 80 it feels like I am doing 40 (which landed me a ticket unfortunately). The limited edition is well worth it. The leather is very classy and the sound system rules. I wouldnt reccomend this car for a racer as the horse power is a bit below par of other cars like the eclipse. But this car destroys the scion Tc, anyday. If youre a person looking for a cool 2 door ride that is affordable, this is the way to go for sure. I cannot reccomend this car enough.

  I bought this car with 45,000 miles on it and have driven it another 50,000 with no mechanical issues period. I have a cold air intake, headers, and exhaust, and the car has handled it like a dream! I really could not be any happier with the looks, deceiving amount of interior space and power that this little Hyundai puts out. I take it on 1,000 mile roadtrips; I throw my bike into the hatch; I enjoy carving through North Georgia mountain roads. Until I got this car I was always unsatisfied with the wheels I was in. I bought this thing for $12,000 and havent complained since. Thank you Hyundai!!! =]

  Its ridiculous how good this car is, especially when you remember it cost only a fraction of other cars in its class (i.e. Audi TT, Nissan Z, etc.). Drived better than any of them.

  Ive had the car from a couple of years now and have driven it pretty much from one end of the US and back again with no problems whatsoever. The car is a huge amount of fun to drive, especially for the price that I paid. My version is a stick shift, so I have no complaints on the power but I imagine as an automatic youd definitely notice the difference. As a little extra bonus, I regularly get compliments from strangers on the looks of my vehicle which has never happened to me before. I know Hyundai has a bad rep but I would have no problem recommending the vehicle to anyone and have no plans to trade it in anytime soon.
