  Proud to have a Hyundai... - 2004 Hyundai Tiburon

  After having a Mits. Eclipse GST for the last 7 years, I was very hesitant to get the Tiburon. Then my husband drove me home a loaded blue standard Tiburon GT with leather and 17" tires in a snow storm, no less, because it was time to retire the old girl(Eclipse). I freaked!!! After the weather settled, I started noticing all of the stares I was getting on the road. I was even getting asked about my car every time I went to the drive-up at the bank. It took a little time adjusting, just slight differences, but now I am very satisfied. Its a HOT car that looks SWEEEET, and it didnt kill my pocket$$.

  Had a Toyota Supra that I loved. Im now in love with my Tib! Sits, rides, drives like the Supra. Have only had 2 small problems. Mirror vibrated (rattle drove me nuts) and drivers window motor broke. They replaced both items without a question Drive the Santa Fe occasionally, but always feel better in the Tib!!! Wish they made a convert! Gas mileage disappointing. Avg 18.4 mpg (accurate records) in 5700 miles. Supra got closer to 30 than 20. I LOVE THIS CAR!

  The car that turned it around - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon

  I traded-in a 2001 VW Jetta for this new inovative car. The V6 engine is smooth and has plenty of extra power. The interior is better than the Jetta. Front seats are comfortable and very supportive. The handling is nice and predictable. The styling is great, car seems to turn heads every were I go. The best thing is when people ask "What kind of car is this", its so funny to see their reaction when I tell them its a Hyundai. If you are looking for a fun and exciting car this is it. I dare anyone to find a more impressive car for under $20,000, with this warranty at no extra cost.

  This has been a great car and fun to drive. I got this car it 0.10 miles on it and it now has 305,718.00 and it is just now on its way out. I has just had 2 clutches and one tranny ( 1 clutch and tranny) broken due to a bad shift in to 2nd gear at 80mph. just a great car.

  Dont buy it, its not worth it!! - 2001 Hyundai Tiburon

  This being my first car was nice when I got it. There were a couple things wrong but nothing big. After I had it for 3 months it needed new tires, new headlights and new taillights. It had about 40,000 miles on it when I got it and it now has 90,000 in the time that I have had it I put around $3,000 into it. Now it needs new belts, a new transmission, a new motor for the window because it never goes up once you get it down all the way. Once you start the car it doesnt stop squeaking. I have kept up with all of the usual maintenance and gotten tune ups when needed but it still runs like crap. The tilt steering wheel takes a lot of pressure to get it to move.

  The car is a surpirse and a blessing from Hyundai after the last Tiburon. The previous model was ugly, underpowered and worthless.

  This car is fantastic! It is so fun to drive and as far as reliabilty, mine is too new to know, however with the great warrenty Hyundai provides, if I do have any problems, they will fix it for a very long time. The car is affordable, so stylish and just plain awesome. The seats are so comfy and everything is well within reach and simple to access. Stero system is great and sounds fantastic. I would recommend this car to anyone.

  New owner, now hard to find any - 2008 Hyundai Tiburon

  Only a few 2008s left for sale in Southern California: only 100 left for sale in USA. Purchased the six cylinder because dont want loss of power with AC on. Dealer gave huge discount off sticker and low 2.9% financing. This car is a bunch of fun to drive, my wife loves it, even though there are physical adjustments with seat, mirrors instead of all automatic features. The Kenwood radio is great sounding and the AC will literally blow you away. I like the sport seats too. Needless to say, it is the exterior styling that recommends the car most. The interior lighting is exciting and I opted for BlueTooth connectivity rather than sunroof, which I never use.

  Wow! No one can believe its a Hyundai and most people havent even heard of the Tiburon! Our daughter just bought hers today and as I looked back at her following me in the Tiburon she had the biggest smile on her face! Magnificent styling, unbelieveable warranty (big selling point) and just plain eye-catching. Its the only one that Ive seen in the area; I think my husband is envious and he should be! It IS a head-turner. One of the reviewers said that its fun to see the faces of disgust (when you mention Hyundai) turn to shock when they see it--you got that right! Id never thought Id see the day when I felt a Korean car would steal the show.
