I have owned this car for nearly a year and have driven both city and highway miles. This is a sporty and fun auto to drive and I am looking to buy another one next year.

  • Great first sports car! - 2006 Hyundai Tiburon

As searching throughout the market for a decent sports car to start off with in my area, I had found an eye-catching 2006 hyundai Tiburon GT v6. The car had so many great features that I had been looking for but what had sold me was the style of the interior, the sleek body style and the low mileage it had on it. Ive owned one of these cars for about two weeks so far and Ive found that it is quite fun to drive and even got a few compliments already on the car. Id definitely recommend this car to anyone who wants a nice reliable sports car.

  • Best bang for the buck - 2001 Hyundai Tiburon

I purchased the 2001 Cobalt Blue with leather. I had a few minor problems which were fixed quickly by the dealership. I love my Tibby! Ive put a magnaflow muffler on it, took off the resinator, added a k&n air filter. Im getting it tinted and eventually hope to improve the horsepower. You cant beat the warranty! Im not worried about the low resale value because I plan on keeping mine for a long time. If youre thinking about buying one, give it a test drive. I dont think youll be disappointed. Even with automatic its a fun car to drive.

  • This vehicle is terrible - 2006 Hyundai Tiburon

This car is fun to dive, but if you dont have a ton of money, dont buy it. Bought one at 99k miles, it now has 124k. In the span of that 25k, Ive replaced all tires twice, replaced the clutch twice, replace the shifter cable twice, replaced the transmission and flywheel. All tiburons after 2003 are crap. Also, any transmission repair (clutch, shifter cable, flywheel, etc.) is 1000$ more than with most cars because it takes extra work in a tiburon to get to the transmission

This car is a good runner, as long as you dont want to run fast or in comfort. Never had any mechanical issues with this car, but it feels completely underpowered and lifeless when on the road.

  • Good car great price! - 2008 Hyundai Tiburon

Bought a 2008 in January 2014 for $4000. It has over 200,00km. Was looking for second car to drive around instead of my thirsty SUV all the time. I test drove a whole bunch of small cars and at the end it came down to a 2006 Mazda3 and the Tiburon. It all came down to looks and price. Love the Ferrari look and it was $1500 cheaper than the Mazda. Good all around car and handles and brakes better than the Mazda. Love it!

  • Best For The $$$ - 2005 Hyundai Tiburon

IMHO - this is an awesome car for the price. Quick, fun to drive, and comfortable. Poor gas milage, but all GT type sports coupes, even the infamous Ford Mustang, are like this. The Tiburon is much more comfortable than the Mustang.

  • My car - 2004 Hyundai Tiburon

I love this car. I have had one mechanical failure which was the clutch detent switch. Dealer replaced it with the best service I have ever had from a dealership. Transmission is smooth and sound system is excellent. Interior is well designed and extremely comfy.
