  • Love it a year later - 2008 Hyundai Tiburon

I bought my Tib in Dec 09, so have had it almost a year and have racked up 17k Ive been thrilled with this car so far. It is fun to drive, nice tight steering and adequate pick up for a 4 cyl (although I would like a little more pickup). The gas mileage varies wildly for me. During the summer in the city, I averaged about 20mpg, but on the highway I usually get around 32 regardless of air conditioning. Drove the car cross country twice, and would say if you plan to do something similar, be warned about the base model. No cruise control! It does make a difference. Also, it does seem to have a big blind spot to get used to. All in all, very happy, love the way it drives. Fun, fun car

This car is fun to drive!!! For the price it is hands down the best you will find. It is very smooth on the road and the seating is very comfortable.

  • Not so sure... - 2007 Hyundai Tiburon

Really nice car to look at, but to drive - Im not sure yet. Its got some great features, does well on the MPG - I got a amazing deal on it but the car lacks a little power and feels heavy at speed. It almost seems like one of those midlife crisis cars that have appearance but no substance?

This car looks beautiful, rides nice, and fufills my mid-life crisis need of not driving a mini-van. Only problem is I cant get my wife out of my car!

  • I like it - 2005 Hyundai Tiburon

My little Tiburon turns heads. I like the fact that very few people in the area have them. The ones I see on the road are from other states. Tiburon has excellent street appeal and beautiful lines. Classy for an inexpensive car.

  • Get ready for a new transmission! - 2005 Hyundai Tiburon

This is the third Hyundai I have owned and will be the last. Tibs have a documented history of having transmissin problems (particularly the 6 speeds as found in the SEs). The styling is nice but what good is it when the transmission goes out and the acceleration is sub-par to other vehicles? I have had my car for 11000 miles and I have had transmission trouble with it since day one and the dealer refuses to acknowledge a design defect in the car. For the same price many other V-6s on the market can outrun you AND get better gas mileage, not to mention better workmanship. You truly do pay for what you get.

  • This car is alright with me - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon

I have owned my Tiburon for a few months now. I have to say I went into the market looking to buy a sports car that would just get me some looks. I spotted this car and decided to take a look. I liked it immediately and bought it. The interior room leaves something to be desired but all other features were definitely A+. It has power and I definitely get some looks. It is also lots of fun to drive. The interior is plain but easy to upgrade all by yourself. I definitely recommend this car to any single person who just wants to have fun, look good, and not be looking for huge financial responsibility.

  • Love our Tibby!!! - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon

We saw the new Tiburon and just fell in love. It handles great. I love the interior, the dials, knobs, etc.. Its very peppy and just feels solid. Im really impressed by how far Hyundais come. The sound system is phenomenal for coming standard. There are so many standard features, its a great deal!
