  Tiburon was a great buy; filled with lots of standard features, is stylish, gets lots of attention, drives like a dream and was a great buy for me.

  I loved it ever since I layed eyes on it. Mine is the Yellow S/E with the automatic trany. Its quick, but you really feel the power when you use the "sports shift." Its been hell though with the car, constantly taking it back to the dealer because of check engine light coming on after a month of owning it, (I bought it with 48 miles on it). It was just a silly emissions problem. Now today apx. four months later its going back because the air bag light came on. Its silly problems that make the lights come on. Nothing major. I definitely would not bad mouth the car in any way. And its pretty sad when you beat a Honda Civic that had all sorts of mods with your STOCK AUTOMATIC :)

  Just because it is affordable doesnt mean the customer is always wrong! I have had a problem with it idling high, especially inbetween shifts, i have heard 3 different stories. I should have seen it when i test drove it, then i was told it was the throttle body which they fixed because the BBB was on their case, and then i was told i wouldnt have seen it when i tested because the computer changes the engine based on your driving. Which is a horrible idea that I have never heard of. Hyundai treated me like an idiot and they wanted no part in helping me. Also my fog light is not water tight and caused it to short out!

  After having my Tib for about 3 months now, all I can say is wow. Everyday I look forward to driving it around. This is the best looking car on the road, bar none. I turn heads all the time, its a great feeling. The V6 engine responds very well to bolt-on mods, lots of aftermarket tuner parts available.

  Underrated and low priced - 2004 Hyundai Tiburon

  GT V6 has outstanding handling and quickness over 3800 rpm. A real kick to drive. And the "Italian"styling is a real head-turner, (mine included). Have taken long road trips in considerable comfort and support due to the contoured leather seats. Enjoy the high pitched sound of engine and the flat cornering. Great buy for under $18000!!!

  I bought the Tiburon because of the looks and the warranty. I used to own a Hyundai Sonata 3.0 and was very pleased. Before buying the Hyundais I owned 5 new US made cars and always had to return to the shop for warranty issues, not with the Hyundais. The only time I go there is for the oil changes. Even that isnt expensive. Ill buy a Hyundai again!
