  • A Mirror of the Past - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon

The first thing that appealed to me was it reminded me of the 1986, 300 Z I once owned. Then, after I drove it time stopped. It drives like a dream, slipping in and out of traffic and giving me the power I need. No longer do I feel I need to buy a $30,000 car to be satisfied. The dealership I bought it from is great and all the employees are very helpful. And you cant beat the warranty! When I first got the car, not a week went by when I would be stopped and asked, "What kind of car is that"? People would pull up beside me and just stare! Even my 20 year old son thinks it looks cool. Love the car and would not hesitate purchasing another one in the future.

  • Beautiful vehicle and fun to drive - 2004 Hyundai Tiburon

I am a dealer and have purchased all types of vehicles. When I bought this one I was just thinking about dollar signs and how quick it would be to sell to a racer boy. Although when I drove it back it had amazing pick up and stuck to the road with a lot of control. I have read some of the other posts and find it funny, this is a very fast car if you are skilled enough to shift it fast enough. The shifting is very smooth, HP is great, interior and exterior looks fabulous. The front end looks I dont really like although easily fixed with the right body kit. I come from a diverse family of vehicles from the G35 to the Pontiac GTO and by far this one is another keeper in my book.

I am 6 4" and fit almost peerfectly into the Tiburon. For the weight and the small six it is extremely spirited. I am extremely surprised by the Tib being as I traded a 2003 Silverado for it, good power, the interior was well thought out and it rides well for a more sport suspension than what I am used to. Over all this car will impress not only on price but quality and performance as well.

I shopped for a long time for a car. The tiburon has given me a sports car that is fun to drive, and a great price. Not to mention it turns heads. I believe its a great buy for the money.

  • Tiburon Or Bust - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon

I put this car through its paces a couple weeks ago. Took a drive over the Cajon pass into Californias High Desert. I was in 6th gear all the way, and the car was hardly working. Stearing was precise and effortless. Go ahead and spend 5 or 7k more for a Toyota, or Mitubishi.

I first feature I noticed was the beautiful rear end and since I realize thats what you end up looking at the most of the car in front of you while driving, I wanted a car with a gret rear ;-D - Then after the looks of the sheik exterior comes the drive. This car handles the road great taking turns with ease even if your zoomin a bit fast for a curve it just glides along like its attached to a track. The best test so far has been the rain. I drove thru hurricane rain conditions from VA to PA with truckers splashing an added monsoon of water on me & my car only skidded once the whole 7 and half hours of driving.

Ive recently purchased a Tiburon. It doesnt look like anything on the streets (except for a Ferrari). Everyone has always something to say about the car. I really enjoy driving this car. For the price and warranty you cant go wrong.

  • Fun, inexpensice & zippy - 2006 Hyundai Tiburon

This car was a LOT less expensive than I imagined. I looked at Eclipse and Mazda 3,6,RX8 and I think the Tiburon looks better than any of them. The car takes corners so nicely you almost dont feel them. The 4 cyl does not accelerate as fast as my last car (A Prism- can you believe it!?) which was disappointing. Also in 5th gear the car runs high rpms.... feels like the car needs a 6th gear. This makes highway driving a little noisier than I expected. Good stereo system helps to make up for this. If youre looking for style and a smooth drive for less $, this is an excellent car for you.

  • Fun car! - 2005 Hyundai Tiburon

this has been my favorite car. its fun to drive and looks awesome. i still get people turning heads and asking what kind of car it is. the only problems i have had with it has been weather related. i live in an area with a lot of snow and cold temps and you can tell they didnt design it for this type of weather. if there is more that 4 in of snow on the ground dont go out driving you will get stuck if you have to stop but handles pretty well besides that. but i dont mind. i just take it in every winter to get the e-brake replaced for free.

This car is my baby! I got what I paid for, its obviously not a lexus, but way less problems than any other car I owned. The Power windows was a known issue and the Dealership will fix any little thing I can complain about! Its a great car to drive, looks really cool too.
