At first I had this annoying leak that would saturate the passenger back seats. 4 times, the dealership tried to fix it. Finally they fixed it and my sunroof broke and it was at the tmie I found out I had three recalls on several parts of my car. Last week, I went to close my trunk and the handle broke off that is located on the inside of the trunk. Yes it is covered under warranty thank god. Besides this, I enjoy driving the car. I have not had a mechanical error yet and I have had it for a little over one year.

The moment I saw this vehicle, I knew I had to testdrive it. Although I had my initial doubts since its a Hyundai vehicle, my research and test drive told me that the 2003 Tiburon was an excellent deal. NOw, after 4600 miles of driving, Im still having fun driving this car and the looks and comments I get from people are awesome!! The engine is responsive and sporty, the interior is comfortable, the placement of the radio and AC features are within easy and comfortable reach, the dashboard and other inner components are well-designed and feel like good quality. And, of course, the exterior styling is just so cool!

I drove by the dealer and had to have this bright yellow sports car. It has been great to drive, although I do store it in the winter months. I had origionally bought it to teach my teens to drive. No way! Way to quick and many blind spots. Its ok though because I totally love to grive this car. Only had 2 mechanical issues, both fully under warrenty.,

This is my first new sports car, and I’m proud to own the new 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6 2dr Coupe. I love the look of it and the power. I have a lot of great comments about my Tiburon from all of my friends (there all import fanatics). I’m going to be in the next Import Tuner magazine, I don’t know when or what month but I’m going to be in it. Look 4 me.

  • DO NOT BUY THIS CAR!!! - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon

Its a good looking car, performance isnt bad...when the car works and isnt in the damn shop! This car has caused me nothing but problems since I got it. A door handle came off and I barely touched it, the transmission and flywheel had to be replaced at around 75,000 miles. The car is a manual transmission, and during the winter months the parking brake DOES NOT WORK! The brake line freezes and is worthless. Dealership manages to wiggle themselves out of expensive repairs so I have to pay every dollar. Ive easily spent $4,000 - $5,000 to keep this car on the road.

  • Suprisingly fun and a great buy! - 2008 Hyundai Tiburon

I purchased this vehicle just a couple months ago to replace my 2001 Accord 5- speed. To my surprise this car drives better than most reviews I have read and is far better on gas. Power is not breath taking but I will say it is more peppy than its specs would suggest. I drive about 50% of the time on the highway and the other in the city. I average about 28 MPG, not bad at all. The very slight lack of power of this vehicle is made up for in the corners. This car can really hold its own in the corners. People are amazed by the look of this car and I always turn heads at the traffic light. Interior is bright and really makes a statement. Overall great car, if you havent driven one, try it out!

Ive had my tibby for almost a year. it has 39,000 miles. Im pretty pleased with it, but for being a 4 cylinder "sports" car its pretty slow.. I tried racing my friend who has a very old crappy car and he kept up with me the whole time. i wish it was faster.. the only problems I had was a headlight going out and the tires seem to bald quickly. but the style is awesome. its a good little car for a small gal like me.
