  • An Excellent SUV - 1999 Honda Passport

This SUV is what you want your money to get you. It has the power you want and the looks you want. It blew my girlfriends Explorer rite off the road, and my neighbors V8 Grand Cherokee cant even keep up with my stock Passport. For $25,000 the Passport offers comfortable seats, great cargo room, and a Ready-To-Deliver-Power V6 Engine.

This car handles very well, even at over 70 MPH. The Passport V6 achieves around 20mpg with mostly freeway use, and the engine is always ready to press you against the seat. The seating is quite comfortable and the engine sounds great. It blew the doors of my girlfriends Explorer and had better pick up than my neighbors V8 Grand Cherokee.

My white Passport has been a perfect car since I purchased it in Decemeber. Lots of power, luxury and rugged good looks. Considered also the Isuzu Rodeo (same car, just as good), but chose the Passport because of dealer experience. A perfect 10, this car is great

I having no problem of my passport which I bought 2/2000, truck is very reliable but only think I do not like gas mileage even it say 16/20 but roughly I got city/hwy mix about 14-15. Size wise it is perfect for city Parallel parking because it does not take large space.

  • What a lemon! - 1999 Honda Passport

This truck was nothing but trouble! It spent weeks on end in the shop for check engine light problems, blown computer board, and not going into park. After taking the truck back to the dealer numerous times and writing several stern letters to corporate, I was finally able to get out from under the lousy truck and back into a 2001 Accord. The Accord has been flawless. Stay away from the Passport!!! Dont forget, Isuzu, who makes the Passport is like 50% owned by GM!

I have had problems a week after the purchase. The key keeps getting jam inside the key slot, brought it back to the dealer and fix the problem. Everything working pretty well so far, but during colder days. I am not talking about snowing, but just average cold days around 50 degrees F. The power window wouldnt work, this happen more than 50 times already. Gas mileage is more like 13 to 14 miles per gallon. I dont recommend buying ANY passports.
