  • So far so good. - 2016 Honda Accord

The car has great fuel efficiency without paying the price of a hybrid. The ride is pretty quiet. I really like the hub caps. The back up camera has a nice clear picture. There were not many interesting colors to choose from so I got the dark gray. I did not like that I had to upgrade to the EX-L version to get heated seats and then had to pay for a moon roof that I did not want.

  • Almost Great . . . - 2016 Honda Accord

I purchased the V6 Touring Model. And I agree with other reviews and would easily recommend it as a purchase that one would be happy with and confident. But I cant give it 5 stars because the front seat are substandard in terms of theyre comfort. Not much better than a seat on the city bus . If anyone know of a solution please post it.

Because of the high road and wind noise, it does not feel like a luxury car.

  • The Accord Coupe V6 is an AWESOME daily driver! - 2016 Honda Accord

GREAT car. Love the Sports mode. Love the handling. Just make sure you dont need to get people in and out of the back seat a lot. FUN TO DRIVE and get GREAT gas mileage for a V6.

  • GREAT CAR, POWER,COMFORT, STYLE all in ONE - 2016 Honda Accord

I bought one of these cars as I wanted the quality that comes with buying a Honda product and I am MORE than pleasantly surprised. It took searching the entire east coast OF THE USA to find one, and one dealer would not tell me where the car was. DEALERS had wildly different prices out of the four dealers that had one. It is not a big seller and most dealers do not stock them, only the larger dealers will buy one MAYBE two for the entire year. The car moves down the road with ease, power and gets looks from young and old people, most people do not what kind of car it is, most guess at a Civic, but they all say "NICE CAR !", and it is. Comfort, style, power and the latest in technology all wrapped into the most successful mid-size car of the last 35 years...THE HONDA ACCORD. I will take care of this car and I am sure it will more than take care of me. this Honda Accord has Leather interior, 360 watt/ 7 speaker sound system, 2 video screens(one touch screen), 2 cameras, 4 way power drivers seat, power everything. It might be .5 second slower BUT The Accord Coupe actually blows that car away....and I loved my 93 Sunfire. This Accord Coupe should serve me well.

  • Used to be more comfortable for the driver - 2016 Honda Accord

As compared to my 2005 Honda Accord V6 EX, I found following is a step down in the new 2016 model: 1) side door storage compartment used to be 2.5 times larger. now, it can barely fit 2 bottles of water. this reduction applies to all doors on all new models. see 2016 MDX doors for space comparison, which is similar to what i have in my old car. 2) the space on the door where the window meets the panel and where the driver used to be able to put his arm is now half in width and therefore it is now hard to keep your hand there without slipping, making the whole experience frustrating. 3) the control clusters on the doors are now tilted forward and down a little bit, so if you used to place your arm there to support yourself from rolling forward when hard braking, you would find it no longer helps and your arm may slide forward thereby loosing your grip. 4) the steering wheel is no longer ribbed n the borrom for your fingers and is just plain smooth surface. this as well as the material used in the older model was what made the driving experience so good, but not anymore. the new material feels like a softer cheaper replacement covered in chalk and making your hands slide. 5) the console buttons are now gone and are replaced with touchscreen. in my opinion this is yet another mistake. the single central circular button was the most useful thing in the whole entertainment system. it was quick and simple, without requiring the driver to take eyes off the road. the replacement of key functions with touchscreen i think is another mistake, but i am sure they will find that out when its too late and customer are put off by the ignorance and hype of touchscreens. 6) yet another issue is the center console. it used to slide out and extend forward to allow the driver to place his right arm and provide arm relief. does not extend anymore and is fixed instead. the space in the console has been reduced in half and no longer has an additional 12volt outlet. 7) the center console as well as couple of other parts are accented with shiny and reflective black plastic. these will need to be constantly cleaned and are prone to scratches just like a cell phone screen. honda has no alternate materials selections available, and in comparison to all the previously muted out silver accents, this was a fairly stupid decision. on my phone i can put a screen protector to prevent scratches, in the car however there is no such thing and your are limited with making customizing those pieces with vinyl. 8) lastly, older models had driver seat controls which could tilt the seat front to back just a little bit, maybe 1-5 degrees. the new controls do not have that option and instead you are limited with seat up/down, forward/backward options instead. Overall, seems like Honda is going a bit backwards with their features, rather than improving them year after year. Instead they deliver trivial things like MP3 and Bluetooth, reduce usability and comfort. With the car rising in price, I would expect that it would at the very least remain with same or similarly comfortable interior and entertainment system or be improved for the better; however, it seems opposite is true.

  • Good but could be great. - 2016 Honda Accord

Overall, Im satisfied. My only real gripe is the weak stereo. Really brings down the otherwise outstanding Honda!

I have the 2016 Accord LX. I bought it used with about 3000 miles on it from my local MN dealer. It was to replace my 2000 Honda Civic coupe that I had owned for around 13 years and it had 235,000 miles on it. Needless to say I am a Honda loyalist, but not one who is blind to Hondas faults. I test drove a CR-V and a Camry and this car and settled for Honda because I still like the feel of the Accord better. The car is still mostly Honda in how it drives and sounds. The CVT takes a little getting used to but is not bad overall. It gets excellent gas mileage, I average around 32-34 mpg in mostly highway driving with some city driving mixed in there. The power is excellent for a four cylinder but you will not be drag racing anyone out there, buy a different car for that. I love the exterior styling and I think it is one of the better looking Accords in recent years. Generally, I am happy with the car. That is all the good stuff. Now for the bad. This car is neither quiet nor particularly compliant in the NVH department. I am ok with that because having owned Honda cars for a long time I know they arent always the best at NVH. I will trade the noisiness for the benefits in the handling department. There is, however, in my car a particularly annoying wind noise at the B pillar, right at ear level, when the car is at highway speeds. This is on both the driver and passenger sides. I will have the dealership look at this and update the review based on what they do. Road noise varies depending on the surface and can become obtrusive at times. There is a vibration that this car has at idle and it might have something to do with accessories like AC/climate control cycling on and off. More troubling is a slight vibration that can be felt in the steering and gas pedal during acceleration and at certain speeds on the highway. Time will tell how this resolves itself. Could be anything as simple as an out of balance wheel to as complicated as a CVT issue. Will update when I know more. The brakes are good and I can stop this car easily without jerking my passengers around. There is also a fair amount of body lean in the LX model when cornering at anything close to aggressive speeds. With all these flaws I still love this car and I hope it lasts longer than my faithful old Civic.
