great car - 2008 Honda Accord
By Peter - May 9 - 5:23 amWhen my car suddenly broke, my first thought was a Toyota, but found out that they were too small. Next I saw a Camry, but wasnt smooth enough. I looked at the accord, and fell in love with it. My son liked the ex-l the best, but that was out of our budget. He wanted the ex for the sunroof at least, but that wasnt necessary for us. We went with the LX-P because of the rims. The car is very smooth for a v4, my first, but I thought that the gas mileage should be More about 38-45. Well I guess we cant have everything. The car is great, both with styling and performance. This is my first Japanese car, and so far so good! I would definitely recommend this car to any body, any age

Awesome But Not Perfect - 2008 Honda Accord
By DaGuy - May 7 - 5:43 amI traded in a 1999 Volvo S80 for the new 2008 Accord EX-L V6 w/Nav. The new Accord is impressive in quite a few areas: cabin size, powerful V6, fantastic (truly fun and easy) technology package, handles great despite the fact that it leans a bit too much on aggressive curve handling. My Volvo had a turbo V6, I dont miss it one bit. The Accord engine delivers ample power. Its hard to imagine but the new Accord is actually the same size & weight of my S80 but handles like a smaller sports car. Bottom line, If you cant afford a 40K+ unreliable luxury car then this is a fantastic choice.

Fly the Coupe - 2008 Honda Accord
By BR549 - April 29 - 8:20 amI gave my 2000 Accord Coupe to my daughter with 196,000 on it and with only 200 miles on the 08 Coupe and I love it. Its the first car I bought sight unseen and no test drive. I knew I was going to get it when Honda first previewd the concept at the Detroit show in Jan. I was a bit apprehensive wrt the VCM and the new polished metal metalic color. The color is awesome looking good in all light environments, but especially at night. Im surprised how much the VCM kicks in. I know I can milk mileage with my driving style and requirements. Going from 200 hp & 16" whells to 268 hp and 18" wheels is a huge difference in handling. Cockpit/Cabin looks great at night. Looking forward to it.

Excellent design, questionable quality. - 2008 Honda Accord
By Derek - April 27 - 4:13 pmBought my Accord in the fall 2009. Have since put on about 5000 miles, the car currently has about 26000 miles on it. I must say that I am really impressed with the design of the coupe (not sure if they fell asleep designing the sedan). The coupe looks awesome and I get lots of complements. I have owned 4 Hondas and I must say that every time I got a new one, the build quality has gradually got worse. First, door seal came off, then glove box started to rattle, I am watching the rear brakes closely now as many complaints there, rear brakes at 35% but front at 75% interesting. Today I heard new center console rattle. Car vibrates @ 60-70 mph. What happened to Honda quality?! Looks is not all.

Awesome Ride - 2008 Honda Accord
By Ammoguy - April 27 - 2:46 amI was initially looking at the Mazda 6, but when I got into the new Accord I couldnt get back into the Mazda. This car responds right away when you tell it what to do. The ride is comfortable and relatively quiet. The looks are excellent. People didnt think much of it when I said I was getting the new Accord until they saw it.

This Should Have an Acura Badge - 2008 Honda Accord
By soflorida6MT - April 25 - 7:50 pmThe new Accord coupe, with the V6 and manual transmission reminds me of the departed Acura CL Type-S. The Accord is a great value for the money. Its very comfortable, has pretty much every luxury feature you might want, and is still fun to drive. I will warn you though, that if you drive it like it should be driven, gas mileage isnt the best. Ive been averaging around 20 mpg with a city/highway ratio of 70/30. The suspension is definitely firm, but in no way harsh. The V6 is buttery smooth all the way to redline, and it has plenty of pull.

Wonderful car - 2008 Honda Accord
By Joeletta Mummert - April 25 - 1:56 amIve owned a 94 Accord for 14 years and am very pleased with the makeover that Honda finally did with this model. This is comfortable, fun to drive and very quiet. I only wish it would have a better gas mileage with this 4 cylinder engine however Im hoping it will improve after its broken in. Im currently getting just 20 miles per gallon with half city and half freeway driving.

Blown Away!!! - 2008 Honda Accord
By Mike - April 25 - 1:33 amAfter months of research on this and other sites & countless test drives, I decided on the 08 Accord Coupe. Im absolutely thrilled with my decision! The fit & finish would lead you to believe youre in top of the line luxury car. Definitely a head-turner, I get looks from BMW, Acura, & Lexus drivers all the time; maybe they realize they paid $10k more than they had to for a top-notch car. For people complaining about low fuel economy, are you red-lining it at every stop light or something? I drive aggressively and still get 25 MPG city. The 31 MPG hwy rating is right-on, last 2 trips I got right at 31.4 MPG. Take care of it, drive it right, and it will take care of you (& your wallet)!

Not Impressed - 2008 Honda Accord
By RA - April 23 - 5:10 amSo much for Honda reliability. The tires which Honda has decided to equip there best selling car with are the worst rated for driving on snow and in wet conditions. The satellite radio cuts out constantly, the heated seats are barely warm, the sound system is pathetic and the brakes wore out around 15,000 miles (google it...theres lots of complaints). On top of all that the engine is completely lame...just not fun to drive at all.
