  • Great car marred by infotainment & dim instruments - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

This is a great car marred only by a maddening and slow infotainment system and instrument panel lights that are difficult to see with polarized sunglasses. The infotainment would be okay except the touchscreen symbols frequently need two or three pushes to make something happen. The infotainment control wheel/button would make an acceptable substitute for dials except for the delay when you push the button to change from, say FM to Sirius/XM. Its measured in seconds - come on Honda these are electrons for heavens sake. The instrument panel lighting control doesnt seem to want to work unless the headlights are on and it is dark outside, and then you cant turn it bright enough for daytime use to offset the view through sunglasses, especially the gray-on-black center portion of the display. Hopefully Honda will check he simplicity and clarity of their past designs and get serious about a do-over. Then the Accord would be a perfect car.

  • Good upgrade/update from a 15 year old accord - 2016 Honda Accord

With the new design in and out plus all the feature that is given on a base 16 accord with the history and reliability of Honda. There is nothing can go wrong on this car. With the deal that I got which is even sweeter story....

  • Honda lover but Accord 2016 dissapointed me - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

I am a Honda lover but after buying Accord 2016 and using it for so many days, I feel Honda Accord CVT version is not worth money paid, specifically for ride comfort, noisier cabin and stereo. The stereo as Honda indicates a premium stereo with 360W is not equivalent to 30W stereo. On the ride comfort I can even feel the a small pot holes. I dont even get blind spot even after paying such a high amount for EX-L. I totally dissapointed with Accord 2016.

  • Disappointing Fuel Economy - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

Its a great looking car, especially at night with the LED taillights. I want to like it, and I do for the most part. I just havent bonded with it like I did my last two Hondas. There isnt anything objectively wrong with it, I just dont feel a connection to it. Its just a car to me, one that I wont be sad to get rid of. The fuel economy is not what I had hoped for. Im averaging just 24 MPG with mixed driving. Hopefully it will get better when I put more miles on it. The seats are not quite as comfortable as on the 2016 Civic, but theyre not bad. Having Apple CarPlay is a fantastic feature that I wouldnt want to go without, but it does take quite a while to start up when compared to other vehicles Ive tried it on. The back seats are comfortable enough for short trips, and the trunk is huge. A couple of things I dont like: There is a fair bit of wind noise that sounds like its coming from the door seal right next to my ear. There is no volume knob. Not the biggest thing in the world because it does have volume controls on the steering wheel. Still, Id rather have one. Im also not a big fan of the glossy black trim on the inside. It scratches easily and always looks smudged.

  • Pleasantly Surprised - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

Pleasantly Surprised with the features it have which even an Audi dont have (Adaptive cruise control and emergency braking) Plus a 35+ mileage in Highway )I got 42 on my trip south) With Apple Car play you dont need navigation anymore as an option, Rearview Camera , Keyless entry, Remote start, Push button start ,

  • Grips and Groans.... - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

Great car. The technology seems to leap by decade. Especially with regard to driving dynamics and torsional rigidity. So far my biggest gripes are the following. 1). There is no stinking way to get into the trunk from the back of the car. The only way to open the trunk is to use the key FOB or the internal release lever. Personally I dont always have my key FOB with me and when I walk to the back of the car with a hand full of stuff I want to be able to open the trunk. There used to be a day when all Honda had a release lever and also a keyed latch. Basic stuff that all cars should have. 2) The HVAC system makes this irritating pulsing noise that you can hear at idle. The rest of the car is so quiet is appears quite loud. Its not just the sound but the nature of the pulsing because it feels like a pressure pulse that rises and falls. Its actually unnerving.

  • Listen Carefully - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

It is a nice solid car for the price. However, the wind and cabin noise when going over 60 miles per hour is excessive and certainly doesnt live up to the industrys standards or Honda. If you are looking for a quiet highway drive, take a long test ride and listen carefully.

  • Good ride - 2016 Honda Accord

Its a great vehicle I used it for work have not had any issues and have 23k miles on it so far added a cold air intake which I think is a must with this 4cyl you get better mpg and much better performece all in all a solid car would rather have bought the manual version tho next Accord will not be a cvt trans

  • Good - 2016 Honda Accord

Bought it for 23300. Very good so far. Had it for two weeks. Drove 1400 miles highway and averaged out 32 to 33 mpg. Kinda shifts to left but i think its just the wheel alignment.
