  • Im on Number 5! - 2016 Honda Accord

After many years of owning Accords I wanted to branch out so I test drove the competitors and went back to the Honda yet again. I ended up purchasing an Obsidian Blue Pearl 2016 Honda Accord EX-L w/ HondaSensing and Navigation along with the V6. My previous Accord was a Gray 2013 Honda Accord Sport. I love the styling on the 2016-17 Accord, but after almost two years of ownership, I still havent come around to the wheels. I find them to be almost a little bit too small and even a little bit tacky. I purchased the Sport 19" wheels as my spring/summer/fall rims and I am using the stock wheels as my winter set. In terms of how well the Accord performs in the snow, I am still disappointed to see FWD only on the Accords but it seems to perform well if you buy a really expensive reputable winter tire set. I find myself loving the performance in the Accord. The one thing I dislike is the steering. Just as numb and weightless as my 2013. The fuel economy is really pretty good for a Mid-Size Family Sedan with a V6. I have been averaging around 25.7 MPG and thats without the use of the ECON button which is really impressive by the way. The keyless entry system works okay but I do wish there was a sensor behind the door handle to make it that much more convenient. The interior is really where I spend most of my work week and I think that it serves it purpose very well. I find all of the Honda vehicles to be very driver centered. The steering wheel is my favorite part about my Accord. I like the thick, 4-spoke design. All of the buttons and IMID Display controls are in the perfect spot and are the perfect size. The seats are very comfortable, as they should be in every Accord. I really love the storage in the Accord. The Dual-Screen Design is something I am not terribly fond of and I am crossing my fingers that they do away with it for the 2018 Accord. Overall, I love my Accord and plan on putting my order in for the Redesigned 2018 Accord in the fall. :)

  • Excellent value, great looks, beautiful redesign.. - 2016 Honda Accord

We had the same model Accord for 10 years and it was going strong with 130,000 miles, never in the repair shop once. It was wrecked in an accident so it was replaced with same model, Accord EXL. The new 2016 model is fantastic value for the money, a timeless design, very reliable, great on gas, and great resale value...not that wed ever sell it! Loads of passenger room, very comfortable front and back seats and good size trunk. The tech is quick to learn and works very well with android (me), or Apple (my wife). Not a single thing I could ask for on this car.

Love the car,the only thing I would want to see them add is a sunroof. I love the sensing package its saved me from a possible collision already.

This car definitely lives up to Hondas reputation for well-built, reliable cars.

  • Best Honda Performance Coupe ever! - 2016 Honda Accord

I had a 2015 Civic SI Coupe before this and it was very difficult to part with. The Accord Coupe 3.5L V6 MT took my driving experience to the next level. Its fast, smooth and has outstanding gas mileage. I have the Still Night Pearl, along with the front, side and rear body kits. The car gets complimented almost every time I go to the gas station. Most of all, Im very impressed with the shifter and clutch. The throaty exhaust note and powerful engine revving can be addictive, especially during acceleration. This car exceeded my expectations in every area. Thoroughly pleased Honda customer!

The smooth ride & economy + its history of dependence make it a car for smart people. Every time you drive next to an Accord the person inside is smart. The car makes a lot of sense for its price. But most importantly its reliability should be appreciated the most. The only week point I think is its sound system, a bit dull.

  • 2016 Certified Accord EX-L Outstanding Deal - 2016 Honda Accord

This is my 9th Honda Accord sedan. I love the car. The only wart is the ride at times. 90% of the time the ride is good enough-handling is good. 10% of the time when the road is bad, the ride is very rough. But I can live that. The most important issue is transmission performance to me. There is no delay that it makes it an unsafe vehicle like some other cars. I owed an upscale Honda product-Acura TLX. Mine was of 2015 vintage with 4,300 mile when I sold it in September 2016 and I only owned it for a year. I did not feel safe driving it. A variant of the 6 cylinder with the 9 speed ZF was the powertrain. That transmission strangled the 290 horsepower, and the VCM on top of the 9 speed completely neutered the Acura in question. The transmission shifted erratically and 4th gear took too long to engage. The Accord is not for everybody but for my being an Accord fan it is A- and just great. I got this car as a Honda certified with 6,300 miles for with a pre-tax price within + or - 4% of trade-in value. Clean CarFax and AutoCheck accident free. In service date of 1/12/16 - thus, 7 yr Certified warranty ends Jan 2023. I got a wraparound First Automotive warranty that expires same day as Honda 7 year that includes a ton more components than the Honda 7 year powertrain warranty for a nominal amount. The dealership that I purchased the car from was Rick Roush in Medina, Ohio. The sales personnel, Tyler Roush and Tracy Hammond, were extremely helpful and did an outstanding job. A recent listing for a used identical vehicle in a different color was originally listed with a Ford dealer at $28,476-way too high a price. This Ford dealer just reduced it after a few days to $26,810 for a non-Honda certified vehicle-a fair price but not a great price. I did extremely well in my purchase of this car. Again my hat off to Rick Roush Honda.
