My 6th Accord - Best Yet - 2008 Honda Accord
By nealb0853 - November 14 - 7:40 amThis is my 6th Accord. The difference between the 08 and the 05 that I had was the biggest improvement yet. The 4 banger is quieter and delivers more horses then before. I could not see spending $2k more on the 6. I sell Acuras for a living. No way can I justify the Acura is worth the $9K difference.

Ill buy it again - 2008 Honda Accord

The car handles well in all conditions. Where I live in Upstate NY we have to deal with large volumes of snow and a second set of wheels with snow tires allows me to get around in the worst conditions. I have enjoyed my current vehicle so much that I plan to replace it with another 6 speed, 6 cylinder manual transmission Honda Accord Coupe.

Amazing car! - 2008 Honda Accord
By Jim - October 29 - 4:00 amI have had my Belize Blue 2008 Accord Coupe V6 6-speed with navigation for nearly 3 weeks. All I can say - what an amazing car! Nothing but excellent ratings (except for gas milage, which should improve as the car breaks in). The Accord couple is great fun to drive, especially with the 6-speed manual transmission. If this car was any faster, it would be scary! I traded a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS V6 5-speed manual, and there is no comparison. I would highly recommend this car to anyone - and if you like to drive a "sports car", get the V6 6- speed. Navigation system and Bluetooth are very functional. I have received many compliments from strangers on my Accord!

Excellent Car!!! - 2008 Honda Accord
By Pleasant - October 27 - 11:20 pmI am a previous Acura TSX owner. Before that I had an 04 Honda accord coupe. I just knew when I got my TSX I was never going to get another Honda again, until i saw the 08 Accord coupe. Got it 11/07. I totally love it!! The new body style is off the hook!! I catch people looking to see what kind of car it is all the time. I had the chrome door handles installed to give it an extra kick as I did not want to pay the extra for the V-6. The inside is much bigger than the 04 coupe and the TSX. Totally stands out. Cant wait until the summer time to let the windows down and open the moonroof!! I love my new coupe!!!

A pleasant surprise - 2008 Honda Accord
By Peter Gorshe - September 30 - 3:46 pmI have driven Hondas for many years because of their quality and reliability. Yet the 2008 was even better than I thought it would be. I especially like the performance, stability and comfort. I find the criticism of the dashboard controls to be unfounded. The controls are convenient and they make sense. The car is very responsive and drives well in all road conditions. I was able to get 33 MPG on a recent trip. Interior is very roomy and comfortable. All displays are very easy to read. The only negative is that it doesnt have an outside temperature reading, which I really miss. A great car and a great value.

By JC - September 22 - 8:14 amMy car is used daily. Serviced at regular intervals. I have the 2.4 litre four cylinder engine. As a realtor, most of my business is conducted within the local county I reside in. Ive read many negative reviews regarding the brake wear. My rear brake pads have been replaced at 36,000 mile intervals. This may be due to the small size of the brake pad design. The front brake pads are original and now have 93,000+ miles. There are blind spots to sides, so caution entering highways and changing lanes. Small after market mirrors are avilable to help. A very reliable and economical car. As with any car, preventative maintenance is important. "Be kind to your car and your car will be kind to you". I recommend the Honda Accord. Fuel economy 22-24 mpg local/33-35 mpg hwy.
