  • Not a bad car - 2008 Honda Accord

This car is just ok. Im not crazy about the ride. Car handles ok, but the road noise is bad. Had to replace rear brakes at 28k. The seats arent that comfortable. The doors feel really light and cheap. Awful in snow. No other problems besides the brakes. Good on gas for a six cylinder. Transmission shifts are jerky for an automatic trans.

  • Quality as a luxury car - 2008 Honda Accord

Driving my Accord v6 for almost two years I can tell you what powerful and very comfortable is this car. I really like the interior, looks like a luxury car to me.

  • Brake, remote, drivers window,cd player - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

This is my first Honda i bought and i think is the last one. Have had all kind of problems with it, starting with the drivers window too noisy, rear brakes worn too fast , one of the remotes was out in 6 months, mechanical problem with the CD player. you name it. Never Accord again, and never on Oakville Honda again, very poor service.

  • Brakes--be careful - 2008 Honda Accord

Great car except the rear brakes. The front brakes last 3 to 4 times longer than the rear. That never happens, the front disc always wear out first. Honda design flaw and the wont admit they have a problem.

  • Good car - 2008 Honda Accord

This is my first Accord, after trading in a Civic. I actually love the car, despite the reviews. I have to admit, I had my rear brakes replaced. My car was making a weird noise and when i took it to the dealer, I was told that the brakes have sensors. The dealer did not charge me a penny. I guess because they know that there is a brake problem. They told me that models 2008-2010 get free rear brakes for three years. So to those who own this car, make sure you are offered the same deal.

  • never again - 2008 Honda Accord

driving 200 miles round trip to work and needing a car rated with a high mpg i bought the coupe. although it looked sharp the seats were horrible. everyday i would get out of the car with a terrible backache. my wife hated to ride in my car because of it making her back hurt. this was my first and LAST Honda. ive always had Pontiac Bonnibelles and NEVER had a minutes problem. but with Pontiacs longer being in production, Ive traded this coupe in for the new 2011 Hyundai Sonata. it is SO much more comfortable and i dont dread driving to work. never had any problems other than the seats being uncomfortable. Good luck to those of you who bought this car but ill never own another honda.

  • Never again... - 2008 Honda Accord

My first and last Honda. Rear brake job after 9 months - $180. Seats are most uncomfortable - after 1.5 years of ownership still trying to find a comfortable position. Exterior and interior design is sub par at best. Fuel efficiency is horrible - fill up every 7-9 days - $45 - driving to and from work and school. I am not quite sure what I was thinking when I bought this vehicle. Disappointed. Frustrated. Cannot wait to get rid of.

  • 2008 Accord Rear Brake Issues - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

Have enjoyed driving the vehicle until recent quality issue with rear brake pads. At just 15,000 miles, the rear brake pads need replacing. Honda America claims that this is normal for Honda as the Accord has a unique design that shifts the weight of the vehicle to the rear when braking. Thus, 80 - 90% of the braking is done using the rear brakes. Amazing. Has Honda defied the laws of physics?

  • I hate my accord - 2008 Honda Accord

I have owned many cars, for 08 Honda took a step BACK in quality. Never have I despised a car as much as my 2008 accord EX. My car has less than 40,000 miles and I have replaced the rear brakes THREE times! Each time at about $200 at the dealer. The dealer told me they are designed to be quiet, so they wear out fast. Be prepared for an additional couple hundred dollars in repairs every few months if you are considering buying. Interior noise is MISERABLE. Road noise is insanely loud as is wind noise. Dealer looked into the issue and stated my car is flaw free, Accords are just noisy. Horrible build quality with that much noise. Trading the car in, will never buy Honda again.

  • All Kinds of Problems - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

This is the first Honda I have purchased on my own. My entire family owns Hondas but this will be my final Honda due to so many problems. Brakes replaced under 20000k miles rotors turned and replaced under 20000 miles and rear dash replaced. 3 out of 4 door actuators replaced. Heated mirror took 6 trips to fix after they told me I didnt have heated mirrors and I had to prove it. Brakes still squeak a lot and Honda Customer service will not do anything about it. They just say they have not had any recalls when they clearly have issues with the brakes. My parents have a pilot just had their 60k mile service replaced brakes first time and still have not turned rotors. Accord is awful.
