New sheet metal for the venerable pony. The LX model and hatchback are dropped. The base Mustang gets a 3.8-liter V6, and GT models receive a boost in horsepower. I bought this car new, actually drove it off the showroom floor. I now have just over 238,000 miles on it and it is still running strong. The only things I have done to it other than normal maintenance, is a new top after 13 years, (mostly garage kept) a fuel pump, and a distributor stator. What a great car! Its now over 21 years old and I hope to have it for another 21 years.

All I can say is wow. Car was bought as a wreck from an insurance company. Had some panel damage but the airbags originally killed the car. Fixed it up and got it back on the road. It has been in 6 wrecks since then and been rebuilt every time at a fairly cheap cost. The thing wont stop kicking. Car is fun to drive. The rack-and-pinion steering in this car means you are directly connected to the road, no power steering in your way. Just you and the road. The car has plenty of zip. When the car shifts above 50, you will find yourself trying to slow the thing down, it wants to go fast. The heater in the car is powerful, it will heat the car fast. The a/c is like a normal car. Great car in all.

I have owned and driven my car since day one when she came off the truck. She only has 70000 miles on her. It is only driven in the nice weather because our Indiana winters can be harsh on the car because of the salt and also the bigger tires on the vehicle. We took it to the 45th anniversary in Birmingham and she performed very well on the track and proved that she could give the more powerful Mustangs a run for the money. It was not a timed thing but just a chance to be on a spectacular road course. It has been a fun car to drive for 15years and still looks excellent inside and out. No she is not for sale.

This is my third Mustang, but my first GT. I purchased this GT for $5,000 and I have put another $4,000 into it. Its now a gorgeous car and fun to drive. Its my sunny-day-only car, so the mileage stays low. Ive had to do some engine and exhaust work on it, new paint and rims and some other cosmetic things, but other than that its a pretty sound vehicle. I wont be selling it any time soon. I really love this car!

Bought this car new and it served 7 years as our only car. We carried dogs, lumber and christmas trees in her. I added underdrive pulleys and a K&N FIPK. She gave me almost 30 mpg on the highway (at legal speeds at least). Now she is a toy with subframe connectors, new MAC exhaust from the motor back including the powerchamber, 3.73 rear gear, more racey seats. The Dyno run gave us 285hp (215 from the factory) with 117,000 on the odometer. I love this car and will keep it until I pass it on to my son. Glad I didnt buy the Camaro that we looked at! Going to have Carrol Shelby sign the glove box cover this fall!

Having 3 different Mustang types I find the 94 convertible GT a real nice ride. Tight road handle solid off the line. Need to make a few mods to get some more performance without breaking the bank. No rattles and engine runs strong. Cupholder is in a bad spot.

  • Reliable vehicle, great race car platform - 1994 Ford Mustang

I bought this car in 1996 and only had to replace the water pump at 80,000 miles. Other things needed work but were accidents like road debris, etc. When the car reached 103,000 miles, it was still running strong with no problems other than wear and tear parts like brakes and the clutch. But, I tore it down and now it still looks the same, but makes BIG power.

  • By Far The Best - 1994 Ford Mustang

I have had my Mustang for 9 years now and have 144,000 miles on it. This has been the best car I have had by far, great gas mileage (22MPG) great handling and just an all around great car. I have changed the oil every 2500 miles and had to do just maintenance work and that is it. She is still going stong and I plan on passing it to my daughter when I get my new 2005 Mustang in March of 2005.
