Overview & Reviews
Redesigned last year, the Expedition offers few changes for 2004. Option packages and trim levels have been slightly revised, and in some cases, renamed. The XLS replaces last year's XLT Value trim level, while a new NBX trim level replaces the FX4 off-road package. And there is now an XLT Sport trim level. A tire-pressure monitoring system is now standard on XLT, XLT Sport and Eddie Bauer, while the previously standard limited-slip rear axle is now an option.
- Well thought-out interior with plenty of room for passengers and their belongings, handy fold-flat third-row seat, impressive handling for its size, great crash test scores.
- Needs more power, ride quality suffers on rough roads.

Awesome! - 2004 Ford Expedition
By RGober - March 18 - 10:00 amThis vehicle is awesome! Has a very comfortable ride and plenty of room. Smooth ride and I love the independent suspension! I also love that third row seat, push of a button and it lays flat. Would recommend this vehicle to everyone who wants to ride in class!

SUV for eveything & towing - 2004 Ford Expedition
By 2 Lane Blk Top - March 18 - 10:00 amIve had the Eddy for 19 months with no problems. I down graded from the Excurion with V10. We love the styling and options, it loaded without side curtains and Navigation. The seating is perfect for 8 adults. We have two kids 18 and 14. Camping and long trips are a breeze. We tow a 9,000 Travel Trailer, with little effort, but the Excution was better. But with the air dam on the Eddy its not problem.

I love my Expedition - 2004 Ford Expedition
By P. Gardner - February 28 - 10:00 amI know my car is not the best in fuel mileage, but we use it for our business (we have a dredging company) and it hauls our equipment, our RV when we need it when working out of town. I have used it to pull the truck attached to the tool trailer or the equipment up hills when they would not make it on their own. It is unfailingly reliable and wonderfully comfortable to drive. I have never had a car that I liked more. It is luxurious inside and has a short turning radius, making it very manuverable. I cannot think of anything that I do not like about this car.
