Still the Best Vehicle I Have Ever Owned! - 1994 Dodge Shadow
By bladeedge12 - August 27 - 3:53 amMy 1994 Dodge Shadow ES was my second car, but the first one I bought myself. It is still the best vehicle I have owned and Im only on my 7th vehicle! I regret the day I traded it in, but I got a 1999 Chrysler Concorde for it. I miss my Shadow. Shouldve kept it and restored it.

28,866 and STILL GOING! - 1993 Dodge Shadow
By Sharon - May 7 - 9:33 amThis was the 1st vehicle I ever purchased without a daddy or husband...and at almost 29K miles, a daughter has driven it, a son has driven it, and now a grandson has driven it. It still runs GREAT. The 5-speed manual transmission makes it FUN to drive and Ive been loving my Shadow for over 17 years. The BEST purchase Ive ever made!

In sweet love - 1994 Dodge Shadow
By raelee07 - January 20 - 10:54 amSo, I have had my Shadow for almost four years. And I am super super impressed. It has on it 225,904 miles on it and I am keeping it climbing. I do a lot of traveling. My transmission does not slip a bit and the only big repair I have had to do was the radiator. I tell you no lies. I have had probaby 5 people in the last year offer me at least a grand for it but you know what? Not going anywhere. If and when it does die I want to be the one driving it. If youve got one of these cars, be smart and keep that bad boy. Long live the shadow.

Great Car - 1994 Dodge Shadow
By Jerry - December 28 - 2:00 amPurchased new in 12/93 for my trip cross coutry. The 3.0 V6 was impressive stock, but with a couple minor changes (cold air intake, high flow cat & muffler, larger tires & wheels) it would keep up with Mustangs and Camaros of that year. Ran a 14.0 qtr mile at Maple Grove. As a soldier in the US Army I travelled and the Shadow took me everywhere from Louisiana to Alaska. Over 30K / year for the first 4 years with no problems. Went through lots of tires, but that was my heavy foot, not the car.

Great car, lots of power, lots of fun - 1991 Dodge Shadow
By bob - December 7 - 11:39 amThis is a 2.5 turbo automatic convertible. It takes turns like its on rails. It has power off the line and on the highway. It really handle well, and idle smoothly. These 2.5 liter engines are just about bulletproof. Automatic shifting is smooth. Just love the car. Seats are real comfortable. Just a great car and cheap to maintain. The most fun you can have driving and very dependable.

Fun Car with Speed & Reliability - 1991 Dodge Shadow
By Jackbird60 - August 7 - 9:22 amThis is my second 1991 ES Convt Turbo. I cant tell you how thrilled I was to find another. Very, very hard to find. This one had only 80K (Carfax certified) The Paint was very good except the trunk area. Not one ding on the car. The top is in VGC and the interior looks great. The car runs and drives excellent and everything works except A/C which was converted to 134a & just needs a compressor. Driving impression: The Turbo really sends this car flying and yet the engine at normal operating speeds is quite quiet & smooth, even at a stop light. This is the best car experience for $2,000 you can get. VG Reliability. It will blow the doors of any 90s Miata, etc.

The 300,000 Mile Beast - 1993 Dodge Shadow
By Czarina - March 19 - 4:14 pmThe title of my review says it all. I am a 22 yr old college student who inherited the car as a hs grad gift in 02. My dad bought the car brand new in 93. This car always started, never died, and felt like a tank (I hit my 53 yr old iron/stone based mailbox @ 30mph day I got my permit, blasted it to pieces, and only put a small dent on the front bumper .. keep in mind plows have hit the mailbox tons of times ...) I miss this car, orig. auto. transmission started to go at 274,283 miles, and continued to run until it reached 275,963, then it froze up. I replaced it with a used one, and drove the car to 300,000 original miles b4 the used tranny decided to die on me ....
