  Wish it was mine - 1993 Dodge Shadow

  I bought a 93 ES 2 door hatchback for my daughter from a dealer friend of mine who took it on trade from the original owner. This was going to be her first car and of course my main way of thinking was to have something reliable for her so I didnt recieve calls about breakdowns. I have known several people that had these and I never heard a complaint. Her car has every option except the sunroof and it all still works perfectly. It runs like a top and I never hear a word from her. I wonder where shes at . . . . . .

  Rock Solid Car - 1994 Dodge Shadow

  3 Accidents couldnt kill it!!! Its still going strong!!! Ive got just over 180K on it and really have only had to replace the clutch plate and of course the O2 sensor, but what the hey when its such a great car! Im going to drive it as long as I possibly can! Very low maintanance!

  Still running good - 1994 Dodge Shadow

  Ive had this car for 3 yrs now. this car has been very reliable to me. i plan on keeping it as a "beater" car when i buy a new car. i have put on about 60k miles since i got it...it now has 205k miles. I can still hit 100mph !!! Since ive had the car, ive replaced the headgasket, water pump, and tires (about $1000) Not to bad for 3 years. I would recommend this car to anyone with low budget car maintainence.

  Bought car for bout 1400 off someone on college campus, so its now a 3rd hand car, has no history problems, and the only thing replaced by the former owner was a set of tires, and brake pad. Car makes some engine noise, but its a reliable car, and ive no problems for the past few months. I intend to keep it for the next few years until i have a real job =)

  Im finally selling it - 1990 Dodge Shadow

  Im the original owner of an 89 Shadow 4 door 2.5L non turbo. Lets face it, this car has been about as much fun to drive as a shopping cart. But fun is sometimes secondary to what a car should be about. Unlike other Chrysler made vehicles that I have owned, the Shadow has been an icon of reliability and stallworh dependabilty...under all types of conditions.

  Fun to Drive - 1991 Dodge Shadow

  At 150K, this car runs like a Tiger! The 2.2 litter four-cylinder engine averages 25-city/30-highway mileage per gallon. The two misgiving on this vehicle are the air-conditioning and 0to 40 miles takeoff speed. The air- condition compressor and high-pressure side hoses need major design improvement.

  I am a proud owner of a 94 ES V6. Ive had it for 7 years and have over 100,000 miles on it. There have been no serious problems. My only complaints are the noise that is typical with older Chryslers, and the overall fit and finish is very simple. On average the car gets between 20-24mpg in the city and I always get around 28mpg on long trips on the highway. The car feels quick and has lots of torque for a car of its size. DO NOT buy one with an automatic transmission. My brother had a 92 Duster (same car as the shadow) with an auto that was replaced 3 times and is typical of Chryslers. This car is definitely a great buy.

  I really love my Shadow... as a teen age girl its the best thing sence sliced bread. IT runs well and the convertable top it great!

  I have had this car for twelve years, since i bought it new. For the last several years it has been at my weekend home and is used only for local driving. Despite long periods of idlness, the car starts up and drives without trouble, maintenance is low. It is dependable transportation, and fun to drive.
