Miss it already! - 1996 Buick Riviera
By HDLover - February 14 - 5:53 pmI had my Riviera for 6 years. I just traded it in on a Cadillac CTS. It only had 69,000 miles on it when I traded it in. I sure hope I didnt make a mistake. This Riviera was the most reliable and comfortable vehicle I have ever owned. Handles great, sporty feel for a big car. Dont hesitate if you are thinking about buying one and it is in good shape.

Strong engine and power train - 1991 Buick Riviera
By jph - December 30 - 8:28 pmMy 1991 Buik Riveria was a strong engine powered car. I enjoyed driving it in the big city and the open country side. The Riveria was very quick at taking off at lights, leaving camaros and grand prix in the dust!! I had no major problems with the car untill it reached the age of 12. Maybe luck or just a good built car,I still enjoyed riding and driving in my riveria. The highway was great, since I could cruise at 80mph without a bit of worry. The car turned over great in the cold, no matter how cold the tempature was. I will miss you, but life moves on.

Buick Riviera Longtime Owner - 1996 Buick Riviera
By mkdeloach - November 16 - 5:22 pmI owned and drove my Buick Riviera from 1996 thru 2004 and never had any major problems from it whatsoever. My complaints would be 3. After 3 years of owning it, the front hood paint began to peel/rust and though it should have been under warranty, GM wouldnt do anything about it. 2nd thing was the heated seat quit working after 2nd winter, it was $500 to repair so I didnt fix it. 3rd thing was the CD player had a problem. Those 3 things aside, I only had to do the regular maintenance (tuning, belt changes, oil, etc.) and I drove it 164000 miles and believe I could still drive it another 100000 but moved to city and need smaller car. Awesome car! I would buy another, if it were smaller!

Riviera - 1996 Buick Riviera
By JustL - September 24 - 2:00 amFine car with styling so ahead of its time that the new Buicks have similar styling features such as the sharp curved fenders and slopping roof curves. See the Buick experimental two seater and the new replacement for the Regal. Has a rigid chassis and frame that results in straight tracking especially at high speeds. Its rigid body is similar to a Pugeout that I owned years ago. But with style and power.

American Sportscar - 1995 Buick Riviera
By PsychUOut13 - May 27 - 2:00 amWhen my dad rolled home with this beauty, I fell in love instantly. I because a Buick fan, both new Regals and old GSXs thanks to this car. From 60K to 160K miles, it was amazing. Since 160K, repairs starting coming, as can be expected, some which are expensive... but all in all, its a great car, I loved it day 1, and I love it after 5 years. Supercharged 3800 is the best engine ever made (and Im an import junkie)

96 Riviera a joy to have - 1999 Buick Riviera
By LDrunner - May 25 - 2:00 amHave had car 7 weeks. Put almost 5000 miles on it and now near 94k. Have not put a dime into car and it has no issues to deal with. Starts instantly, plenty of power, room, comfort ,features and safety. Just figured my gas mileage is 28.4 for last 4000 miles, of which less than half is on interstates. My new Silverado has been parked since I got it

Riviera, What a great roomy car. - 1996 Buick Riviera
By dave lorraine - April 18 - 2:00 amI was drawn to the Riviera by its Gymnasium feeling inside. It has everything you could want. Pure comfort. Just an all around fantastic car with lousy city 12-15mpg and great highway 28-34, yea 34 on the open road. Yes, If this car was still being sold I would definately look at getting another.

BRASS AND CLASS - 1992 Buick Riviera
By MAGICBOX - April 14 - 2:00 amTHIS RIVIERA FEELS LIKE LUXURY, AND HAS ALL CONVENIENCES OF LUXERY, BUT HANDLES LIKE A SPORTS. IT OUTDRIVES MANY OF THESE SO CALLED SPORTS CARS, TRUST ME I KNOW. THIS AUTO IS BETTER THAN BOTH CADILLACS IVE OWNED.

ZOOM ,ZOOM - 1995 Buick Riviera
By The Zoomer - April 13 - 2:00 amI love this car. I love to drive it on the open road. Its great for passing semis. The only thing I dont like is the slope in the rear window. On a grey drizzly day its hard to see behind you.
