Hey GM, bring back this beauty - 1996 Buick Riviera
By Harry - April 11 - 2:14 pmBought this great car in Fla. Flew down and drove it back to Ohio. Ive got to tell you I was in the most comfortable seat I have ever been in. I thought I was in a leather recliner. I was amazed by the impressive fuel mileage, 34Hwy. I think I may drive this vehicle till I stop driving. I get a lot of heads turning as the finish is showrom new and the buttery soft leather is a classic. I had to fight the wife for the keys. She hates the 2007 vehicle we just bought. General Motors had a great idea

A car that appreciates in value - 1995 Buick Riviera
By safatacos - April 2 - 2:45 pmI can only say that this vehicle will go up in value with age. Unlike many others. A true collectors item. Most people that have them tend to hold on to them. It took me 5 years to find the perfect stock gold edition Riviera I am now driving.

Best Car Ever! - 1996 Buick Riviera
By Julie Freeman - March 2 - 8:12 pmFirst it must be understood that I have always loved cars, namely Firebirds and Rivieras. The Riviera was my ultimate dream car since I was 10. Bought my 96 Riv when I was 39 and I will never sell her. Dont even know if I can ever quit driving it. My Riv and I have a very special relationship. I take good care of her and she takes good care of me. Truly the car of my dreams. Light Adriatic Blue Metallic with medium blue leather and dash. Gorgeous!

What a car! - 1996 Buick Riviera
By 96RIV - February 18 - 6:27 pmBought it with 63000 miles on it. I put on another 75000 and its still going strong. I dont know how they put this thing together, but it should be a model for all US brands. This is the lowest maintenance car I ever owned. The car actually stays new! No rattles or squeaks after 138000 miles. I just gave it to my parents to use in Florida in the winter. Ill probably give it to my son in 4 years when he gets his license.

Disappointed in Buick - 1997 Buick Riviera
By Bruce - January 27 - 1:03 pmBought as a dealer certified vehicle. Transmission went out in 5 months at 79,000 miles and at 86,000 miles intake, power steering, old pan, and transmission pan all leaks and will cost more to fix than trade value. Car was serviced every 3000 miles

Great older car - 1990 Buick Riviera
By Make them like this - January 19 - 4:27 pmI bought it from its original owner. Its been kept in the garage its whole 17 years. I love this car. You can not buy a car built like this anymore. Solid. I have 2 other cars new and a truck. By far this is the one I like the most.

1998 Buick Riviera - 1998 Buick Riviera
By Sherry - January 4 - 12:08 pmMy 1st Riviera was a 91, loved the ride and body style. Looked for the 98 online. Found this it has been an excellent car in all categories except the awful paint job. I dont understand why GMC did not stand behind this when so many had the same problem. Everyone that you take it to all said the same thing that it was the factory paint, even the Buick dealer, but they wouldnt stand behind it. I have been in 2 minor accidents and am thoroughly impressed as to how well this vehicle did. I bought it with 40,000 miles on it, had to replace rack and pinion steering, other than that just regular maintenance.

Another Great Big American Coupe - 1995 Buick Riviera
By BigTexKahuna - December 14 - 1:22 amI bought this car from an old friend, and I remember the day he got it, so I know it well. Ive had it for one month, and I find driving it very enjoyable. The SC-V6 is powerful enough to effortlessly pull this big coupe, the tranny shifts smoothly. Amazingly quiet inside, leather seating is comfortable and very roomy throughout. Slightly short on headroom- definitely cant wear my cowboy hat while driving. Mine has the power split bench-seat option with column shifter. Changed struts, mounts and boots, so suspension is like new. Car is getting custom paint job. I have 18" chrome wheels and tires on order. Will have windows tinted soon and upgrade speakers. Overall a fun car to drive!

Exceptional Car! - 1992 Buick Riviera
By Emily - June 26 - 12:04 pmI have now owned two 1992 Buick Rivieras and can honestly say these are the two best cars Ive ever purchased. Looks, comfort, gas mileage and the greatest engine every made! My first riviera had 157,000 miles on it I gave to a fire victim in Julian, California and 4 years later its still running! I missed that car from the day it left my driveway until I finally found my new pearl from Pasadena. I wish Buick still made these cars! If you can get your hands on a low mileage car -buy it!
