This Year's Model Updates:

The higher-performance G55 AMG model has been discontinued. To quell our sadness for this loss, Mercedes introduces a new "Edition Select" package that brings with it some of the AMG model's interior and exterior styling flourishes. This year also brings a new collection of special Designo paints and interior colors.

  • Go-anywhere capability
  • Luxuriously appointed cabin.
Cons:
  • Very tall roof line
  • Unwieldy handling
  • Abysmal fuel economy
  • Finicky electronics interface.
  • Limited front legroom
