  • Luv It - 2010 Toyota Venza

This is really my wifes car but she lets me drive now and again. Think it is great looking, options are great, performance is all we had hoped for. Ride is quiet and comfortable. I have seen some reviews that dont like the fact that there is no 3rd row seats, that is a big plus for us we have no need for these and in vehicles this size a 3rd row seat just squishes everything together. The Venza has more rear seat leg room than my Tahoe and is much more comfortable than the Tahoes rear seat. We had narrowed our choice to either an RX350 or the Venza and I am more than happy with our choice and saving about 7k didnt hurt.

  • Gas Mileage - 2010 Toyota Venza
    By -

So far 4 cyl 2wd is performing well. Mileage is disappointing at now 20 mpg and falling. 2600 mi on the odo. Trip at 70 mpg+ brought 24 mpg. around town may end up below 20! Brakes clunking after reverse and then into forward.

We traded our 2002 Avalon in on this car. I am very satisfied with the fit and finish. We love the way it handles and fight over who gets to take it to work. Love the keyless ignition.

  • Disappointing product - 2010 Toyota Venza

This is a very nice vehicle, but ours has been at the repair shop way too much> the list of problems range from minor to major, now at 36,000 miles the transmission failed, we had problems with the a/c pump unit, seat heaters, nav system, remote entry, and warped brake rotors. The fuel economy is dismal at 18 mpg with mostly highway driving. I do enjoy the features of this car, and it drives very well and feels safe. Seems Im not alone as I have talked to several other venza owners that are having similar problems, we will not keep this one past the warranty!

  • Lexus of AWD Toyotas - 2010 Toyota Venza
    By -

This is the best AWD vehicle in its class. Traded in a 2004 Lexus RX330 which was a great car and thought we would stay with the RX350. But the Venza is built on a newer platform, has more room and costs $8000 less fully loaded with NAV and including all the features we care about. Handled well in late spring snow and does equally well on twisty mountain roads and city driving. Plenty of back room for three teenage boys who all top 6 feet.

  • Venza: Im loving it! - 2010 Toyota Venza

One word: AWESOME. I have owned this car for a few weeks now, and am so glad I made the purchase. I use to own a 2007 Camry SE, and the Venza totally blows it out of the water. The exterior of the car speaks for itself and I love the 20" tires. The leather interior is a MUST have- it has a nice texture, and the piping is a darker color than the seat. The V6 engine rides smooth, and is pretty peppy. The turning radius is great, making it very easy to park. The JBL stereo sounds great, and I love the blue tooth capability for both my phone and audio player (iPhone). This car really is Lexus quality with the Toyota price. I even chose it over the Lexus RX330!

  • Just unbelieveable - 2010 Toyota Venza

Pearl, roof rack, Heated leather seats are great for the back (even in Fl.). Avg 26 around town and on trips to the east coast 33 mpg. Mileage improves if I use ETHANOL FREE gas by 2 mpg. The comfort, space and pick-up are ideal. Its easy getting into and out of and very comfortable driving (being 62") with plenty of storage and cargo space. This car has it all WITHOUT supporting foreign oil!

  • Venzas a peppy people mover. - 2010 Toyota Venza
    By -

Been researching cars for 6 months. I wanted something small enough to fit in the garage, regular fuel, back seat comfort, nav, XM, bluetooth, USB, auto closing rear hatch, sunroof, crossover/SUV style. I waited for the new Ford Edge to come out before I decided. Liked the Edge but couldnt justify the price premium ($5K more for comparable features). Yesterday in a parking lot it was parked right next to an RX350 and they looked exactly the same. Obviously they arent comparable (test drove the RX350 and liked it a lot), but the Venzas also $15K less. I guess Im used to cheap plastics, rough rides, and vague steering because it drives just like most cars Ive driven. So far Im satisfied.

  • Venza vs 2004 Murano - 2010 Toyota Venza
    By -

I used to drive a 2004 Murano and I got the Venza as my next car. I very happy to report the Venza does a great job. I thought it would be hard to beat the no gear change in the Murano CVT, but the Venza is just as smooth switching gears. I was surprised the ride was much smoother than the Murano. I like the fact the Venza takes regular gas versus premium with the same gas mileage, but the gas tank is about 4 gallons smaller than the Murano (21.6/17.7) which causes about 80 miles less driving on a full tank. The interior is nice, but I wish the would have gone higher glass but that would probably make it a Lexus. The center storage is well designed and useful.

  • Love / Hate - 2010 Toyota Venza
    By -

I love the reliability, great looks, comfortable ride and functionality. The interior finishes are average. I hate the loud creaking and cracking noise which eminates from my rear sunroof when I go over the smallest imperfection in the road. Dealer had vehicle for an entire week and gave up trying to find this noise. Im embarrassed to travel with my clients. This noise started around 60,000 miles and is nearly unbearable at 80,000 miles. Theres no good reason a $30,000 car should sound like its coming apart at the seems with only 80,000 easy miles on it. I had planned to keep this car for 200,000 miles. Ill be replacing it with any vehicle other than a Toyota.
