I put 6k miles on it in the first 2 mos and have been very pleased with the way it handles and its performance. I selected the 4 cylinder engine for a little better fuel economy. The ride is great and the interior space is more than any vehicle I have owned. The back seat is huge.

  • Slight Disappointed! - 2010 Toyota Venza

Bought the car in March 2010, made sure with the dealer it wasnt on recall list which they assured me it wasnt. 3 weeks later. I get my recall notice. But they said dont bring it in yet as they dont have a fix for the gas pedal yet. ok? (still not fixed) Went from Ford Explorer to Venza. Very different driving. Beautiful styling in &out. Back seat very comfortable. Bought 4-cyl and not enough pep for fast pull outs.Engine has to work hard. Should have bought 6 cyl. so take heed. Brakes are very strange. Had to bring in to dealer after 6 weeks to sand the rotors!! Never heard of such a thing. I am hesitant about this car and I have a 5 yr.loan. Hopefully it holds up like a Toyota used to.

  • Luxury feel with great value - 2010 Toyota Venza

After purchasing my 10 Venza V-6 base, I read several comments and reviews trashing winter driving. I have since experienced one of the worst winters in the NY area, and had more than 35 inches of snow in three weeks. I have to say that my Venza handled it with ease. I mean NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. I felt confident, and the Venza went through it all with ease on local streets and highways back and forth to work. Great styling, comfy ride, although a bit hard and noisy when going over imperfections on the road because of the low profile tires. I feel good driving such a stylish car, at such a reasonable price. I enjoy driving it as much as my mercedes benz.

  • Best Value - 2010 Toyota Venza

When my wifes car was totaled in an accident she decided to purchase an SUV/Crossover. We looked at the Venza, the Lexus, the Chevy and the Ford. It was not even close. We both agreed that the Toyota was the best car. Even though the Lexus was definitely a cut above, we could not justify the price differential. I am a Detroit patriot, I drive a Chevy van and a Z06, but there was no way I could convince my wife or myself that the Chevy or Ford product was even close. The Toyota is just a better product. We purchased the Toyota in March 2010 and have not been disappointed. I am surprised that Toyota does not highlight this car as a good value.

just bought my 2010 venza. Love the style outside. Im not to fond of the plastic on top of the dashboard. I went for the 4 cylinder because I dont need too much power. ITs really a fun ride. Love the bluetooth hands free. Sales people and delivery people wonderful! Great lease deal too

  • First Toyota--Venza Rocks - 2010 Toyota Venza

I went from a Murano to the Venza. I need room for big product. It has the feel of a lexus without the same "see me, I have a Lexus" statement which I did not want for a company car. One business associate said the wheels looked like they belong in the hood. I took it as a compliment. It has a great feel and ample power. Our other vehicle is a BMW 330xi. This vehicle does not have that "grin while you drive" sense but I enjoy getting in it every day and I love the cargo bay. We are cyclists and are gone a number of weekends. We could put a full hitch on it and can haul lots of gear. I have not raved about a vehicle other than the Beemer in a long time. I think Toyota hit a home run.

  • Fooled by Toyota - 2010 Toyota Venza

I bought a 2010 AWD 4cyl Venza in early April10. I was assured no recall. 3 weeks later I got the recall notice for gas pedal, but they have no fix for the problem yet. Do not bring to dealer.(ok- sure) Have major problem with brake surges and not sure if going to fully stop sometimes. Brought to Toyota and they cut my rotors. I have 4400 miles on my car. I am very disappointed and leery to drive my car that I am absolutely stuck with as I cannot trade it at this point. Not a good feeling.

  • Wont miss my Murano - 2010 Toyota Venza
    By -

I traded in my 2004 Murano on the Venza. My Muranos driver seat decided to break loose from one corner of its side rails 2 days after my Nissan extended warranty expired and Nissan refused to fix it - even though I had not made a single claim against the warranty during my entire time owning it! I found out by researching online that this was a known, common problem with Muranos, yet they would not offer me any assistance other than to quote me a mere $750 to fix i!. My Venza is way more responsive that the Murano, wider and more spacious feeling, a lot less top heavy feeling in turns and the glass roof is way cool!

  • Could be a fun car - 2010 Toyota Venza

The Venza is a nice car, but ours has a flaw, that might be typical for this car. When the transmission is in drive and the car is at an incline, then it rolls back. The transmission does not catch the car. The dealership told us this is normal for Venzas and Camrys So it is either bad engineering or bad customer service. The car is somewhat fun to drive, but Toyota quality is not what it used to be. Some parts in the interior do not fit together appropriately. This indicates assembly problems. In addition, all Venzas are now affected by the pedal recall. It took Toyota about 6 months to admit that problem. Again bad customer service. My next car will not be a Toyota.

  • My Second Toyota!!! - 2010 Toyota Venza

This car is ergonomically sound. I really enjoy how comfortable it is. Road trips are fantastic in this vehicle. Even better than the 07 Camry I had before. It provides a very smooth ride yet it has a beefy enough suspension and clearance to handle some of the more challenged roads in America. Even though I have the 2.7 liter DOHC engine, the performance is sound. Coupled with the 6 speed transmission, it makes carrying five passengers and luggage effortless.
