Overview & Reviews
The Sequoia is virtually unchanged for 2002. SR5 models have two additional stand-alone options this year: keyless remote and front foglamps.
- Ultra-refined drivetrain, surprisingly agile handling, versatile and comfortable interior, impeccable build quality.
- Non-descript styling, comparably low towing capacity.

Sequoia Happy! - 2002 Toyota Sequoia
By Firsttimetoyotabuyer - May 27 - 2:00 amOverall, we are very satisfied with our purchase. The kids love the DVD player, Mom loves the handling, and quiet ride, Dad loves the peace and quiet on a trip because the kids are entertained (not fighting) and Mom doesnt have anything to complain about.

new sequioa - 2002 Toyota Sequoia
By tracy lee - March 2 - 2:00 amI just got my Sequioa and love it. I was comparing it to the Expedition, but there is no comparison. It drives like a car and rides like a dream on bumpy roads. I cant wait to see how well my Sequioa lives up to the Toyota name in the years to come.

Great Truck - 2002 Toyota Sequoia
By toyo33 - January 26 - 10:00 amIve had the SUV for almost a year now and I love almost everything about it. The only thing that bothers me is the loud noise when you have the rear windows rolled down. Also more power would be great. Before I bought it I was also looking at the Chevy Tahoe because I have a GM card and get points towards a vehicle but I decided to go with the Sequoia because it is more reliable and its a Toyota. I here people complain that you cant drive over 100 miles per hour, well you shouldnt be driving that fast with such a big vehicle in the first place. Theres never going to be a car that is perfect but this one is close enough.

Wow what a vehicle! - 2002 Toyota Sequoia
By Andy - November 29 - 7:13 amI have owned my Sequoia since new and have just rolled over 300,000 Miles! This vehicle has been a real workhorse with 5 kids (4 girls - imagine the luggage) and numerous vacations. It has never let us down! The only mechanical issues I have had has been replacement of rear wheel seals twice and front ball joints (due to recall). I cant say enough good things about this vehicle. When clean, it still looks new inside and out. I have never garage kept, but paint in excellent shape. I have found that the rear door window is often faulty, but it is usually not the motor as youll see on other posts. About 200k miles ago, I put some dieelectric grease in the motor connector prob. solved.
